SCRANTON — University of Scranton President the Rev. Kevin Quinn has sent out a letter to faculty announcing a plan to eliminate health insurance coverage of any abortion — coverage already restricted to cases of rape, incest or risk of the mother’s life, sparking a stinging rebuke from Planned Parenthood Keystone.
The move has prompted criticism from Planned Parenthood.
It also prompted numerous comments from faculty and staff, so much so that Quinn issued a second letter clarifying his decision and offering “a more nuanced view” of the matter regarding a pregnancy that threatens a woman’s life.

Good. Anyone insisting on killing their unborn child should pay for it themselves.

“Provoked criticism from planned parenthood” - this is how you know you’re doing something right.

They’re being criticized by Planned Parenthood, as far as I’m concerned that means that they’re on God’s side and not Satan’s!

Good for them!

As an alumnus this is a great move :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Now if they can get criticized by the New York Times, the Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times they will be perfect. 😉
