This is such a wonderful development, when viewed in the context of recent history, and for all who lived through the Cold War era, when the prospects for such a thing seemed remote. We almost endured a nuclear WWIII during the Cuban Missile Crisis, yet here we are, watching Cuba retrurn to her Catholic roots.
God has heard the many prayers of the faithful over the years regarding Cuba, and it seems clear that the tide is moving toward Christ on that troubled island. The signs of the times seem to be marked by extremes at this time…great hope, then near despair. One wonders what it all leading toward.
