Basically, the “Church” of Scientology is on trial for fraud again and is blaming the high Catholic population of France for their inability to operate profitably in that country. They are calling it a “heresy” trial and claiming religious discrimination.

Previously Catholic Cardinal Marc Ouellet of Quebec has stated that scientology is not a religion and is not entitled to the benefits of one.

WARNING: The link above leads to an anti-scientology activist’s site. They are not a polite bunch.

Catholic anti-scientologists site scientology’s policy of coerced abortions as one reason the Catholic Church should openly oppose this group.

well french law agrees with one and does not recgonize scientology as a religion, and they have none of those protections. so their claim at least from a legal standpoint is bs.

its bull from a practical standpoint too-its a cult/scam nothing more nothing less.
