Hi to all my old buddies here

By the way, and FYI, in case you hadn’t noticed, Pahoran has been suspended from here.

I will not comment on that at all. I will just point it out.

lol. Bukowski came back.

Welcome back, mfb. I will accept that “no comment.” 😃

Contrary to gossip over there I have not been banned. Just found no reason to post. The peace and quiet here is wonderful. Glad to see a respectful LDS.

:coffeeread::compcoff::coffee: Settle in, and relax. Want a cup of coffee?

that was mean. They don’t drink coffee. Neither do I. How about a Diet Pepsi, Nectar of the Gods?

I was thinking of Red Bull. Never had any, but I hear it really carries a kick. I just don’t like to amp it up with caffeine. I’m already enough of an anxious person. Seroquel really helps.

Anyway, mfb is a nice enough person he would take it as a tease.

Well, at least we are going to have conversation with an LDS who doesn’t think he is a god.

I am not commenting because I am not allowed to.

I simply wanted you to re-read this thread

I think Pahoran’s conduct was exemplary. He is a very good poster and made telling arguments.

Also if you dare read the MADB thread, you will see quite a different point of view.

None of us think that, and you apparently do not know me.

And I will let Pahoran’s great arguments stand as they are.

Incidentally, we have shown that Atticus finch, aka Thomas moore probably never was LDS.

He admitted that he has not read the Book of Mormon in 21 years, though he presents himself as an expert on our doctrine.

The name “Pahoran” is a key name in the BOM and he did not even recognize it.

He also confused it with the Spanish word for “bird”, “pajaro” mispelling it as “paharo” which a Spanish speaker never would have done.

I am convinced that if he ever was LDS he clearly was not a missionary in a Spanish mission. Such an individual would never make such mistakes.

That is all I have to say.

I am interested in dialogue- and in my experience no one here is. I have been insulted enough on this board.

lol…this is just his dishonesty. He said the same thing on the LDS board and this was my response proving him wrong:

Him: And atticus, if you had read the BOM in Spanish, you would never misspell “paharo”, for “pajaro”, or mistake it for “Pahoran”

Me, and the truth:lol…not true. Again, I said I had a blond moment. Simply forgot his name. It happens. It was not about spelling. It was about forgetting his name.

Him: Not only would you not have misspelled “Pahoran”, you would not have substituted a non-Spanish spelling for a very common Spanish word, “pajaro”, which means “bird”.

Me and Truth: Calmate, Chico. Yo se muy bien como escribir “pajaro”. Come te dije, se me olvidaba su nombre. Lo siento si no puedes comprender algo tan facil.

him: If you associated “Pahoran” with “pajaro”, having forgotten the BOM name, you would not have spelled it “paharo”

Me and Truth: I did not associate it with anything…I simply forgot his name. I have written dozens of times and forgot it ONCE. And that somhow means something to you? Using that level of scutiny, I guess it ticks you off that Joseph had so many versions of the first vision.

him: And also, you just admitted that you have not read the Book of Mormon in 21 years, and yet are supposedly an expert in Mormon doctrine. You have never had any credibility whatsoever with anyone who knows anything about the BOM, and by now you should have lost it even with those who also who do not know anything about it.

Me and truth: lol…I have credibility with those to whom it matters. I have not read it cover to cover in 21 years. But I read parts of it. I carry two LDS Scriptures Apps on my iphone. I even added my patriarchal blessing and line of authority to one of the the apps. It is called LDS Scriptures and is bt StandardWorks. I also bought a new Triple about 8 months ago because my other one wore out. So, mock all you want. Its cute.

him: ANYONE who even casually knows anything about the BOM would not have made the mistakes you have made, and in addition we have your admission that you have not read it in at least 21 years

Me and truth: lol…mistakes? I forgot a guys name. I have made no other mistakes. But thanks for reading.

and all this because, when I was typing a post, I forgot Pahoran’s name. lol

while on my mission, I was a penpal with LTom Perry (long story). When I finished my mission, I went back to Honduras and got married. several months later, when my wife and I came back to the states, LTOM Perry requested to see me. One of the photos is me with LTom Perry in his office.

Care to tell me what the point is?

any other Mormons who continue to insist I was never a missionary, here is my album

I haven’t read much of the stuff at MADB, but what I have read, is just plain foolish.

People who leave Mormonism, and who have the experiences that are supposed to hold you in, are threatening. So of course the solution is to make it look like your experiences never happened, then ALL IS WELL.

I wouldn’t take it personally. It is the standard performance that isn’t for your benefit.

You are interested in dialogue and yet this is what you came to say?

Why not go on to some of the other threads with all of the unanswered questions regarding prophets/false prophets, the Hill Cumorah…discussing the missionary life of STM? I guess you are doing a “hit and run” and like Diana says, no one likes it.

Oh well, I guess it is up to Parker and Diana to answer our questions, which is fine with me. I am sure they get a little tired though.

mfbuskowski, I guess this is good-bye.

I have been reprimanded in the past for breaking a rule of your board which is not to discuss moderator actions, so I am making no comment on Pahoran being banned. It was my purpose originally to simply point it out and let people make their own conclusions.

Moderators, please note that this post is not intended to discuss moderator activities, but to explain why I posted what I did.
