Ooohhh…That’s right! I forgot about the snack bars at the warehouse stores, where you can get great-tasting food at really reasonable prices!

Sam’s Club also has a nice snack bar, too.

You can take your date to Costco one day, and then to Sam’s Club another, or maybe Costco for the hotdog, and then maybe Sam’s for the ice cream afterwards. 😁

If you are lucky the store might be offering free food samples just run your date around the store eating for free. 🤣 How’s that for a cheap date?

I forgot sometimes places like Lowe’s, Menard’s, or Tractor Supply serves up free hot dogs and Coke, and some times kettle popcorn.

And the bank serving hot popcorn 😅 that was a new one for me.Not on a date though.
 
If you want to really go high class for that date, go to a farmers market. Many times, you can get free samples of the food or product they are selling. For example, often you can even get a whole small bottle of water.

For a full meal, go to the food stands with your bottle of water, and mix it with ketchup. Instant free tomato soup. If you find relish and onions, you have a wonderful soup and salad meal.
 
There was a call for people to iron the purple coverings for the statues and such today. Being on break and all, I took my trusty iron up, plugged in, and began. I noticed most of the coverings had what they were supposed to cover written on them in black marker. Enough people showed up that we were done in no time, but the last thing I ironed was absolutely huge. Eventually I noticed that it was designated for the big statue of St. Joseph on one side of the altar. I found a certain satisfaction knowing I got the wrinkles out of St. Joseph. (It’s good being easily entertained.)
 
That’s cute Katy 🙂 I keep a straightt face most of the time but me too, I’m easily entertained.There’s good humour to be found in most places and situations and I seem to have a lot of laughs on the inside.

Rabbits keep nesting in my garden 😠 Every year they come back to the same spot! They don’t eat a scrap, instead they lounge amongst the radishes and herbs 🌿

So you are complaining about the indolent rabbits that don’t eat your garden produce? :crazy_face:
 
If you provide high quality veggies for them to eat, they will taste better.

Our neighborhood was overrun by rabbits a few years back. My cat proved to be quite the hunter, bringing in a couple baby bunnies for lunch, as well as various bits and pieces to share.

When we had to put him down, the rabbits took residence under our front porch, back deck, garden shed. The dog would just sit on the back step and watch them. 😠

Then we got the mighty hunting sisters, Artemis and Athena. When they were old enough to find their way out, the rabbits started disappearing, first from my backyard, then from the front yard, then from the rest of the street! 😱
