I could say “Whaaaaat???”, except that I was into this stuff in my youth when I attended a similar festival in 1976. It looks like they have somehow kept the flame alive for fourty years. It also looks like to be bigger now than it was in 1976.

Curious thought that they only date themselves back to 2005. Did it disappear for a while, or do they have no memory?

We should call these Curmudgeon threads a “transformational gathering” 😠

My son and his wife have gone to Burning Man for the last three years, and will likely go again this year.

Now that I know Edmundus was a former attendee of the Down to Earth Festival and has now moved beyond participating in such things, my hope for all of humankind is renewed!
 
Dagnabit. I poured Dr. Pepper all over my Research paper draft that I printed to hand in today. Well, back to the printer I go and 17 more pages to print off.

Depending on the subject matter, it could possibly add authenticity to your work.
 
Drink diet Sprite or 7-Up, which will dry clear and not be sticky. Helpfulness I my motto!

I don’t understand why the cake showed up. It can’t be for my birthday, which I in November.
 
Oh! That would be about right. I came back into the Church right around the death of St. JP II and was eager to learn all I could.

Hey! I just looked at the message count. It’s time to start a new thread. Should be be circling the Burning Man campsite or should we make a pilgrimage to see Bishop Sheen, wherever they’ve dumped his bones?
