I canā€™t remember any our hens being named, nor the ducks for that matter.

I did have names for the geese but I wonā€™t say since I donā€™t wanted to get my mouth washed out with soap.
 
Lol you can keep those brown snakes in your own back yard! Dad had to come to the rescue a poor lass who had climbed a 8 foot mesh fence. It was remote engineering workshop in the outback when a brown snake (eastern) ā€˜chasedā€™ her up the fence. She had been up on the fence a couple of hours when by dad arrived.

In Cape Tribulation (Daintree region) went for a bush walk. The path was a winding path down hill. Half way down, we started to hear the alarm calls from a number of Cassowaries. We stopped but couldnā€™t see them. As their calls got louder and louder, we both sprinted uphill. We took a miss on the path and just went straight up. We had wandered into their territory and they also had young.

Though having said that i do have a large family nest of Katipoā€™s my worm farm. Managed to exterminate the family of red backs last year.

A couple of years ago found a Katipo had must have hitchhiked on my clothes when I came into the house. Got flattened rather quickly.

A heifer hasnā€™t calved and would be under a certain age 2? Not sure
 
Oh, you are good. The age doesnā€™t matter, except the heifer has to be old enough to have a calf.

And the calves are sooooooo cute! ā¤ļø šŸ˜ ā¤ļø

We named some of our animals on the farm.

We had this one steer we named Benji. He was, um, unusual. If one of us was sitting in one of their grazing fields, Benji would leave the herd (about 50 head) and ā€œsneak upā€ and suddenly be looking over your shoulder.

The guests always talked about the amazing relationship they felt theyā€™d developed with this steer when he did this to one of them.

The nuns all felt like he was a stalker. These animals are HUGE, and Benji somehow seemed more intimidating for some reason.

But in the end, he was delicious.

Baby everythings are cute.šŸ¤© Even crocodiles, and probably funnel spiders although Iā€™m not going to Australia to find out.šŸ¤‘ Itā€™s when everything gets older that the problems begin.šŸ˜”
 
Iā€™m gonna have argue against baby flies being cute ā€“ though I understand maggots are considered a delicacy in some cultures.

But nobody claims theyā€™re ā€œcute.ā€

Well, theyā€™re cute while their mumā€™s are cleaning them with their big cow tongues!

I decided to check @katyā€™s suggestion that baby funnelweb spiders arenā€™t cute. I wonā€™t post the images here, out of sensitivity to any arachnophobes, but, no, they are not ā€œcuteā€.

Good to know nasty things like spiders and flies are not cute when hatched. It restores some of my faith in nature.
 
Thatā€™s why my sis wonā€™t eat rice. Reminds her too much of maggots.
 
When I first glanced at your post, I thought it said your sister wonā€™t eat MICE ā€“ couldnā€™t see how that would be a problem. šŸ¤£ šŸ˜‚
 
Youā€™ll have to do a search for Australian swear words and their meanings. Make sure no kiddies are looking over your shoulder!
