I think it is interesting how Europeans carry such a short memory. while Muslims keep in their memories events from hundreds of years ago. This Cardinal’s comments will be looked at as politically incorrect but they are simply historical. It is like Europeans forget about the hundreds of conquests muslims made in an effort to take over europe from all sides!
However this is not a matter of the Muslims trying to take over. It is a matter of Europeans distancing themselves from an identity of their past. It is their choice to delibrately abandon their Christian roots. Therefore this is no conspiracy or plot by Muslims, Europeans just aren’t having kids and don’t feel like being Catholic anymore. It just so happens it is the cause of their downfall.

its so sad europeans should not allow this every country muslims have taken over they have persucated all other non-muslims and many other minorities. Islam is a very voilent religion and if europe does not fight back than they country and christian heritage will be destroyed just like what the muslims have done all through history.

So? Just because neo-Nazis make a statement doesn’t automatically mean they’re wrong.
Muslims are a blight upon Europe, and the rising crime rates incurred by these thugs are proof enough that either Europe will throw them out or Europe will become Muslim.

hey george you are wrong many people are noticing that where muslims are coming their are higher crime rates and much more christian persecution. george you may not believe muslims are dangerous and voilent but if you look at history and even now you will see what muslims are truly doing and how they are persucating all non-muslims for their religion just 2 days ago they killed 8 christians on christmas eve and injured several others why because their religion. look at malmo sweden it was a peaceful place and amazing place which I used to visit but now it has become a dangerous corrupt city because of the increasing muslim population they rape innocent woman because they are christian and disrespect and persucate all non-muslims.

There is a stark difference between Muslims in a mainly Islamic country and Muslims in Europe. Despite the rehetoric, Muslims will never be a majority in Europe and at best will be a large minority.
This is actually a good thing because Europe is almost totally securlarist now and to hold religious/moral views on abortion, gay marriage, etc is seen as being ridiculous. The news media (tv, newspapers, internet news agencies, etc) and entertainment industry including music, comedy, film, etc is run by atheists.
The hope is that muslims, who thus far have kept to themselves will find a voice and start to influence things for the better esp in relation to abortion. As Christians, we have more in common with Muslims than atheists.

It would be a mistake to consider Islam as Catholic lite, with similar views on abortion et al.
There is no specific ban on abortion in Islam. There is no reason to think that rise of Islam will lead to a decline in abortion thinking. To the extent that women are not allowed the freedom, then they may well be sequestered, barefoot, hijabed and pregnant scenarios that are hardly a solution to the evil of abortion. Teh question of abortion will merely be made by the men instead of women. Similarly, thinking on homosexuality in Islam has traditionally followed a more pagan line of thought, with the world being divided into those who penetrate and those being penetrated, with all the dominance themes that such thinking implies. The equality of all humanity in Christ, that has led to the idea that women are not submissives in the relationships as are all other “penetratees”, has only come into Islam through Victorian influences of the last century, and that is being lost more and more as Moslems reject all things western more and more.
As westerners living in the lands influenced by Christendom, we have more in common with atheists living in a post-Christian world than we ever will with Moslems coming from a worldview that rejects the humanism and western values that have arisen specifically from Christ’s influence in our world.
Vast Christian populations with far greater faith than Europe have come under Islamic dominance with Christianity and Christian values being displaced from those areas.
There is no just silver lining with the rise of Islam in Europe, when it comes to Christian values. Islam is much further from the values that Christ left the world than atheists currently are.
And generations which do not procreate, go into negative procreation even, is very much a last generation. There is a demographic crisis coming to Europe, and all the pieces are in place for an Arabization of the culture.

The rise in Islamic populations in Scandinavia have led to much higher rape rates in those countries. Without hijabs in public, many of the young men om the streets at night look at all non-moslems women as sluts and whores and therefore fair game for any kind of sexual advances. The tribal values of maurading bands of men looking for booty, codified into a religion by Mo in tfe seventh century, live on.

That’s an interesting view and I don’t have a firm opinion either way on it, but it does seem to conflict with your comment here:
As I see it, the demographic crisis was caused by the “humanism and [secularized] western values” that have been championed by atheism which is very dominant in media, the sciences, the arts and academia in general. Atheism is the de facto intellectual culture of Europe today – and that culture gave us the negative procreation and population loss that will be filled by Islam.
So, without further information, I would conclude that atheism is far more dangerous than Islam, since without a population to resist an Islamic take-over, Europe is doomed.
As for which enemy of the faith is preferrable – I find them both to be inspired by Satan and both capable of immense damage to humanity.

The enemy of my enemy is not always my friend, and just because Muslims may pitch a fit about, for example, sexual immorality in the media, doesn’t mean they won’t pitch a fit about Catholics not adhering to Sharia law.
