What is your daily prayer routine? How often do you prayer? Any special method of prayer? LOTH?

Generally, upon waking up I say the Glory Be.
A bit later it is morning prayers (scripted and unscripted).
During the day some thank you’s and the odd petition
Evenings - depends on what is happening, I may say a prayer, meditate or simply talk.
Night time scripted and then unscripted.

The above reflects the fact that I tend to be verbose and ramble (fortunately God has divine loving patience). I guess I don’t have a special method, I just try to pray sincerely and from the heart.

Pax Christi!

Prayer before meals (For the fruits of Thy bounty…; followed by Have mercy on (list)); daily Rosary; little “filler” prayers during the day (lots of Hail Marys). Occaisionally an extra chaplet or litany, depending on EWTN’s broadcast schedule.

Unfortunately I’ve gotten out of any prayers upon waking - I need to get back to that!

God bless.

First thing in the morning is the Glory Be. A bit later I pray the Angelus (I try and pray it at 6, 12 noon, and 6, but I am not always able to 😊 ), the Morning Offering and the Prayer to One’s Guardian Angel. When I am getting dressed and putting the laundry in I pray the Litany of Humility and the Prayer of Bl. Dina Belanger (“My God, grant me the grace of being scorned and humiliated as much as You desire me to be, and may all who despise and humiliate me be in no way blameworthy. If You desire that I should taste no more joys on earth, I am willing to forego them.” I like to end the litany with this.)
At 3 PM I pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet. After the 6 PM Angelus I pray the Serenity Prayer, and just before going to bed I make an examination of conscience, pray the Act of Contrition and then the Glory Be to wrap things up.

I also pray a few little aspirations and the Rosary each day. It used to be five decades a day, but I am trying to do ten a day now. Its a work in progress.

Holy Mass - not every day - AM
LotH - Morning, Evening and Night prayer with examination of conscience
Sacred Heart Daily Offering - AM, Sacred Heart Daily Covenant Renewal - PM
Prayers of intercession - AM
Litany of Humility, Daily Prayer for Priests, Flos Carmeli - AM
Rosary - not every day, in the AM
Chaplet of Divine Mercy - afternoon
Adoration - not everyday, in the PM

I have a regular routine of prayers plus I pray for different things throughout the day. First thing in the morning I have coffee and read from several spiritual books and have a meditation of sorts and then say my Morning Offering as well as a few other prayers one of which is a specific prayer to keep me from sin throughout the day. If I go to Mass that day, I have other prayers I say in preparation for Mass and Communion which are said before each Mass I attend. Then after Mass, I have other prayers that are specific to that occasion. I also have prayers that I say before Confession and afterwards too. In the evening I say other prayers for that night as well as a Rosary. I will also say the Divine Mercy Chaplet some where between 3 and 4 PM too. Along with all this, I try to stay in a type of “conversational” prayer to Jesus all day long. He is never very far from my thoughts and carries me through my days and nights.

This is pretty much my prayer routine and it has gotten so I depend on it and if I say skimp on my Morning Prayers and Meditations, I find myself feeling “off” by mid-morning and know the reason why. Prayer for me has become like air. I need it to live and can’t imagine living without it. I really don’t know how I got along in life before I found Jesus and His Church. Honestly.
