. And if I can be frank I personally have heard many negative comments about any and every person who appears to be “Hispanic”.
I don’t believe that is the case. What you are trying to delflect from is the comments made by people regarding illegals…the majority about 20 million now…who ARE of Hispanic origin. I have nothing against the Hispanics personally any more than I do against Germans or Austrians. But you need to come into this country through** proper channels…**👍

I think I have made my reasons known over several posts. This is the USA and the currency here is the dollar. That is what should be used if you are doing business in this country. You should not cater to a special group such as Hispanics…and the restaurant should be boycotted. It is unpatriotic, it offends me personally it IS a question of our soveriegnty as a nation (I don’t think you know much about that) and as for the economic issues…I hope his business gets a real hit from Americans boycotting it. I have not retreated on any statement I have made and stand behind them ALL…because they are MY opinions.🙂

Well I think some things are self evident in your posts however these items are contridictor to your writings. Again you use the term “cater to a special group such as Hispanics” as always no proof. Now you say you want to claim sovereignty is the issue so how many times were asked to explain the loss of sovereignty? Yet nothing, nothing at all about our ability to govern our country. Opinion is acceptable, however your opinion are void of facts.

Wow
Are you saying I hear incorrectly or are you calling me a lair? Where to you get the number 20 million illegal’s and how do you know they are mostly “Hispanic”? If you looked up some facts you might not make so many ridicules statements and then need personal attacks to DEFLECT you poor statements

So, is bartering unpatriotic? Unlawful? It doesn’t use dollars, yet there is a place to report it on your US tax return!

As I said earlier, any legal and ethical way a business can turn a buck is alright with me. Afterall, that is the American way.

Places in the United States (with official second languages) that you will want to avoid:

Hawaii (English and Hawaiian)
Louisiana (English and French)
New Mexico (English and Spanish)
American Samoa (Samoan and English)
Guam (Chamorro and English)
Northern Mariana Islands (English, Chamorro, and Carolinian)
Puerto Rico (Spanish and English)

Other places where second languages are used by significant populations in the United States (but not officially):

All 50 states.

Of particular note is Minnesota, where you might find, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Laotian, Dakota, Lakota, Ojibwe and even (gasp) spanish to come in handy!

Cheers!

At last the voice of reason, lovely beautiful REASON!!! Thank You, THANK You, THANK YOU!!!

Are you dense Tex…who is the pizza chain catering to by accepting pesos if not the Hispanic community. In the articles it plainly states that fact? Duh?!

Since you do not know what sovereignty is…how can it be explained to you what its loss means to a country?

LOL…if I were going to call you a liar you wouldn’t be asking me…you would Know. No Tex…you are just a poor misinformed soul who obviously has no idea what is going on with illegal immigration or you wish to negate what is going on in this country. Do you read the papers, watch TV…peruse the internet…do you get out much? I can’t imagine you do…given your statements…

Could you point to a period since that time when none of these issues were present? There are many horrid stories in this part of the country concern beating and deaths going unprosecuted and never to the stories claim this lack of justice was equal on both sides. And if I can be frank I personally have heard many negative comments about any and every person who appears to be “Hispanic”. So please explain why 300 years of continuous problem is not relative or does not exist
This brings to mind the boarder town where HUNDREDS of woman have been murdered and are still being murdered. ( I can’t think, off hand, of the name of the town) It’s horrific! I totally don’t understand how it can continue as if no one cares:(
From every thing I’ve ever leaned “history repeats its self” and is relivant to every thing.

GUess he’;s saying they are worth about the same? :rotfl:
I so confirm…but I do use play money when Im play Monopoly with my grandson…😃

BTW…Chucky Cheese is way too noisy for me… It is actually fuuny to watch you justify your position by comparing Chucky Cheese “bucks” to pesos…ROFL

Now your talking. As much as I think you have no right to tell anyone how to run a business, no one else has any right to tell you who to buy from. A boycott is a good answer to excercising consumer voting power to influence business.

I think, however, it will only succed if they make lousy pizza. Otherwise, I don’t think more than a small handful agree with you on this.

According to the company representative who I heard interviewed, their pizza stores are mostly in Hispanic neighborhoods. This whole move to accept pesos actually helped their sales significantly, especially after all the publicity.

I thought it was a great public relations campaign.

Wow …that has busted out a can of cockroaches and no mistake…
In Australia it is illegal to use any currency other than Australian, why would USA be any different…certainly the shop is either giving away their merchandise for free ( lecit advertising idea?) or an opportunity for big bucks to be made by lawyer types in your High Court
👍

If you stop and think about it, it has to be little more than a PR ploy. Someone arrives from south of the border with a few pesos in his pocket, spends them in the pizza joint, and they’re gone. The pizza joint takes them to the bank, which then sends them back south. I don’t see the big deal about it.

More personal attacks, is that all you have? Is this really an attempt to spin away from your accusations? So what do you see out your window or in those pictures that lets you know some of those people are illegal? or commited any crime?

I do not know of such a town but I care, I hope we make a plan to treat all people with respect thus ridding the border of criminals, minutemen, and coyotes.

Yup… its in Mexico near the Border. Drug gangs pretty much run the town.

Nuevo Laredo is one of the town names. I think CIUDAD JUAREZ is another one.

Perhaps because the United States has not banned this practice? It’s not a big problem. It’s not as if they refused to take American dollars.

As far as catering to a specific clientle, what’s wrong with that? There are specialty shops everywhere, including Catholic bookstores. That’s a normal business practice to create a niche as your customer base.

God Bless the Minutemen for doing what our government should be doing.👍
