Dancing With the Stars' Mario Lopez

I give Emmitt all the credit in the world… he has given this competition all he’s got and charmed everyone! But Mario is the better technical dancer, and whenever he and Karina finish a dance, I am in awe! They are, in Carrie Ann Inabba’s own words, “too hot to handle!” I love watching Emmitt, but each dance looks the same to me… Emmitt shaking and groovin’… do his thing. Mario has some MOVES… demanding and amazing but done with precision. Not to mention he is drop dead gorgeous!!! I can’t wait till tonight! But I’ll feel bad for whoever doesn’t win.

Its a shame either have to lose the competition. They both did well and are so like-able.

The only thought I had after reading all these posts is that I pray our brother Mario has had a sincere conversion. And I hope that he never clicks onto catholic answers forums and reads any of the hurtful things said about him in this thread.

Emmitt and Cheryl wins. Awsome! I imagine Emmitt had more fan base, but he was Marios equal as far as dancing ability. Cheryl was really great, too. Congrats to Emmitt and Chery.!

Mario, Mario, wherefore art thou, Mario? Et tu, Emmitt?

I’m OK with the results. I loved Mario, and thought he was by far the best dancer. There is no question about that. Emmitt won on personality and popularity. He was a suprisingly good dancer, too, but not really in the same league as Mario. It was a popularity contest! Emmitt campaigned at NFL games and NASCAR events. Mario didn’t have dedicated fans like Emmitt. Emmitt was likeable and cute, and seemed like an everyday guy, not a “pretty boy” like Mario. But I would have felt bad for Emmitt if he had lost, too. I didn’t want anyone to lose. I think this show will help Mario’s career, too. They are talking about a remake of “Dirty Dancing.”

Technically Mario was better, but I am glad Emmit won! He sacrificed much more to get that Trophy

Isn’t anyone going to mention how deathly skinny joey and mario’s partners were? Especially Mario’s? I understand the sport calls for diets and unfortunately, skimpy clothing… but emmitt’s partner, and jerry’s partners at least looked healthy!!!

and if Mario’s such a good catholic boy(which i hope he is… man i love those dimples!), why did all of the video clips of them seem to be like they were “hooking up?” some stuff isn’t just “acting”…

The video clips of them looking like they are hooking up are skillful edits. The show does their best to create human drama in order to make it more interesting. It is highly unlikely that Karina and Mario actually got involved but they certainly spent a lot of time together which leads to a certain amount of friendly familiarity. I still believe Mario is a good person. He is certainly kind to everyone he comes into contact with.
