Anyone else watching this?
They again released the entire season at once, making it easy to binge-watch.
An above average superhero series, based on the Marvel character. This season introduces The Punisher (a very good performance by the actor who played Shane on The Walking Dead) and Elektra. The rest of the cast is also very good.
Very violent, some rough language, and some sexual innuendo, so I would not recommend it for children.
Matthew (Daredevil) remains a very moral character, who seeks justice but will not kill, even risking his own life to do so. He is also an openly Catholic character, whose beliefs inform his action, and who frequently makes reference to his Catholicism. The priest who is his confessor does not show up as often as in the first season but continues to be Matt’s moral compass. There’s an interesting extended sequence where he and Frank Castle (The Punisher) argue over the morality of killing (Frank was raised Catholic as well, we learn) as Matt argues for the possibility of reform and repentance for all.
