It has long been my practice to not answer the phone if I don’t recognize the number on the caller ID. Since the Covid-19 madness started, I have applied the same practice to unknown people knocking on my door.
I answer the phone and if its a scammer start asking them questions until they hang up. I am hoping that gets me off their call list. There have been no door knockers since the virus began to become a problem in this country.
