Please no medical advice. Just prayers and encouragement.
So many here know I got a total hysterectomy (uterus, cervix, ovaries–all removed) almost six weeks ago. I have been doing so well it’s amazing! God is good!
Even still, I’m more than a little nervous. I’ve started some natural estrogen/progesterone cream to ease menopause symptoms. I’ve been on it for two weeks. It’s not really helping much, but doctor said it takes time. Okay fine all is well, it will be adjusted if needed. The past 4 days I’ve been having intense cramps and pain in my (I guess) pelvic muscle or bladder (I mean what the heck is left right?) Only it distinctly feels like “woman pain” like PMS. I’m freaking out that my Endometriosis isn’t really all gone and the estrogen in the cream is causing it to flair up. Or he missed some that could not be seen (which isn’t unheard of.) So I’m probably just going to ask to get off of the cream and just deal with menopause. Not fun, but that’s life sometimes.
But just the thought that Endometriosis might still be in me is just overwhelming. I gave up everything I could and still be a functional human being. I can’t give up my bladder or heaven only knows what else too. It’s just mind boggling this disease is. And some have it much worse than me!
Okay. Thanks for listening.
Please pray this disease isn’t returning already. Might be back for more prayers and consoling words soon if getting off the cream isn’t enough to stop the pain. Pray for me and all who have this horrible disease! Many thanks! :hug1:
