Ah, but remember--------------Mary Magdalene WAS a Disciple. In fact, she was THE favorite of Jesus----in MORE ways than One 😉 Unfortunately, Peter conspired to have her “erased” from the historical record after the Death Of Jesus. The Institutionalized Church further expanded the cover-up-----AND Mary Magdalene was with Jesus’s child—she came to France and half the French People are descended form this Holy Bloodline.

But if I buy a lottery ticket from a state machine and it has the winning numbers am I lottery winner even if the store that had the machine wasn’t supposed to? These women may not be priest but they are, apparently fully trained to be and have had been ordained by a bishop. I know. It’s not valid. Women don’t have the “material” to be priest. So says the church, I get it. We all get it.
 
If God intended women to become ordained priest, then why did He not chose women to become apostles for this is how our church begun…through the apostles. Defying the Vatican is defying Jesus Himself.

Where did you get that information? Most of these women “priests” have not had anything close to seminary training and wouldn’t even meet the basic criteria for seminary acceptance, even if they were men.

And using your lottery example, if the store wasn’t licenced to sell the tickets, your ticket wouldn’t even be worth the cost of the ink it was printed with. We actually had that happen in Texas not too long ago. 😉

Well, she must be a valid priest if 25 people gathered around a coffee table say so; how can the Vatican argue with that, really? Plus, in the spirit of the Apostles, she snuck into the household of the clergy via the back door by finding an unhinged renegade European bishop to lay his gauntlets on her head, so that seals it, right there.

Yeah! Say it Sister! I mean…Father! Rome’s rules, as anyone knows, apply only to married straight men; women and divorced people and guys with exquisite taste in domestic fabrics are exempt! Unless the latter are also priests, in which case they, too, are the enemy, and also cannot stop us!

Clever name, isn’t it? That’s just we call ourselves for now, though. We’ve already made ambitious plans for the future to rename our organization Roman Catholic Auntiepopes, just as soon as we can raise the funds to ship our coffee table to Rome and sit around it there!

Women have never had to be priests in order to be leaders in the Church. An abbess had as much authority as an abbot. and in terms of executive authority as much “clout” as a bishop.
Then we have a layperson par excellent in St.Clare who was never ordained anymore than her friend Francis was. A woman may be prophet, judge, or king but in divine history never a priest. One of the most remarkable persons in the Old Testament was Deborah who somehow became judge in all Israel. one able to summon Barack amd a host to go to war. Women forget that a priest is a minister–servant–of the Lord. One need not have sacerdotal authority to perform prodigies of service, as Mother Theresa showed us. In that way we are all called to be priests.

We all know what you mean by Auntiepopes then you can also call yourselves Auntiechrist… I respect what you believe sisters but as a devoted catholic, I believe in the church that our Lord Jesus Christ built with the apostles as the foundation and Jesus as the cornerstone.The Pope is the successor to the apostles and unless the Pope says otherwise, the church that I am in now is the true church where women priests are not allowed.

As someone who is still in RCIA I have to ask, if someone is a Catholic, and much more so someone who declares herself to be a priest, wouldn’t flat out rejection of The Church, the Pope and the Magisterium rather preclude one from being in reality a Catholic?
 
I am soooo tired of these females who are so full of pride and ‘intellectual cholesterol’ and think they can be priests. They’re always ‘demanding’-that’s the only word they know.

If they want to be ‘ordained’, there’s always the Episcopalians. There are lots of ‘priestesses’ and ‘bishopesses’ in the ‘Piskies’. Why don’t they go there and leave us faithful Catholics alone? But noooo…they want to be like whiny and tantrum-filled brats and make the rest of us have ‘agita’. :mad: (WAAAA-I wanna to be a priest…oh puhleeze)

TIME and other such ‘newsmagazines’ are so stupid, not worth the paper they’re printed on. They can’t even have a writer (?) on their staff who knows beans about Catholic teaching and practice. They just like to stir up trouble.

LADIES-ROME HAS SPOKEN, CASE IS CLOSED! NO PRIESTESSES-NOT NOW, NOT EVER, NEVER!!! :mad: WHAT PART OF ‘NO’ DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND?

Sigh…OK, end of rant…🤷 Gotta stop reading stories like this-they only raise my blood pressure. I don’t want to die from a stroke. :o
