I am a retired Marine and when I was a drill instructor one of my tasks was to be senior DI of the recruits being processed out of the Corps. I asked the ones who were being discharged for reasons well within their control the same reason. I asked the same question to junior Marines in the fleet who had a problem with the orders and directions given by the Commandant, Commanding Officer and those appointed over them. I never got a good answer. Why join an organization of any type just to change it and/or destroy it? They can form your own religion if they want. Oh wait-they already have, the Episcopalians! They can be fully embraced by them. To me it sounds like they are angry at God (if they even believe in Him) because they were born women. Vive la difference!

Actually a book was written called “Ungodly Rage” that addresses your comments. It defines the Catholic feminist movement within the Church. Why would they do it? Unbeknownst to them, their pride is the vessel being used by Satan, who, in case you haven’t noticed, is intent on destroying the Church! He won’t, of course, (Christ promised) but it MUST be the Catholic Church, not the Anglicans or any other group, because the CC is the only one which holds the True Deposit of Faith. Simple, really!

I agree with Catholics. There is no scripture in the Holy Bible mentioning that women be ordain to be priests or bishops. Those who does not do what Jesus said in the Holy Bible, are doing their own will, not our Lord’s will. As shown is Matthew 5: 19 and 20.

The Catholic Church is the biggest enemy of the “change” some people want. To these people, it’s all about power, and the Church isn’t giving them any. “Let us in” they say. Why? How? To do what? I actually read an article stating that women would add something to the Church by being priests. Like what? We have Mary, many women saints, nuns and other women who have served and been recognized.

But, as in the secular world, feminist radicals sing the praises of “women” every time a “woman” attains some position of power. Six o’ clock News, “Today saw the appontment of the first woman…” This is the radical feminist cry of victimhood for all women. The lie that tells all women, “The world will see you as inferior unless you do everything men do right now. So forget about being a mom and the kitchen stove, and get out and gain power for women!” Excuse me. Are women part of some foreign country? Should they get a seat at the UN? “The chair recognizes Miss Steinem from the Nation of Women.”? Give me a break.

These women want to be disobedient.

I’am not referring to women in the priest hood persay but there are changes coming, that is a slow process …

changes such as a switch back to Latin as the liturgical language, and hopefully kneeling to recieve communion

The Vatican has confirmed the excommunication of those women who pretend to be ordained and those who pretend to ordain them. While gravely wrong, there is no such penalty for attending a Mass reinactment led by one of these women.

I think this is very interesting… There was actually a time when I contemplated the same thing and I even found someone who supported that idea in my (male) Catholic religious education teacher… Back then (2004) I was actually in contact with Gisela Forster (Germany) and Christine Mayr-Lumetzberger (Austria) and I saw the correspondence between them and Pope Benedict (back then Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger. Prefect of the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith).
I was rather intrigued for a little while, but I did not follow that thought up…
Interesting to see that they are still thriving, even though they have been so harshly criticized by the Church and even though they have been excommunicated.
I wonder what happened to the bishop who ordained these women on the Danube in 2002.

Well apart from the latæ sententiæ excommunication that you are mentioning here they had been given a specific date to recant, repent and turn back to the Church under the threat of excommunication if they disobeyed. They did not do what was asked of them however…
By that they incurred a ferendæ sententiæ excommunication. A latæ sententiæ excommunication is incurred by the act of the offense itself (eo ipso) and does not require a judicial sentence. They were however threatened with the penalty first by the Prefect of the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith himself. I remember reading the correspondence (in German) and that was the contents.

I think I remember something about him having been punished too… but I am not for certain and my quick inquiry on the internet did not give me any further information.
He must have been identified by someone, because him being in the apostolic succession was the only way for these women to consider themselves as such and to validate their claims in their own eyes.

They weren’t excommunicated for disobeying but for attempting ordination. There was a group of women, and their “ordainers” who were given a last chance warning but the Vatican has clarified on several occasions that any woman attempting to be ordained, or any priest participating, incurs latae sententiae excommunication (no warning or deadline required).

I found a German article that mentioned the deadline they were given (22 July 2002) to repent and ask for forgiveness. Of course their excommunication was because of this attempted ordination. Had they however obeyed they would not have been excommunicated. It was a matter that was big enough to require official attention.
This German article that I was referring to, dated 5 Aug 2002, also states that the Prefect of the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger) did officially proclaim their excommunication in Rome on the Monday before this article (29 Jul 2002).

It was a little bit more detailed in these letters and I read them 6 years ago.
I will not be able to quote them literally (especially since they were written in German and you might not understand that) and because my memory is not good enough to retain such detail. I was referring to the information given, but I will not be able to quote.
I am deeply sorry for not clarifying that to begin with.
