I honestly don’t see the parallels with 2016, Hillary only had one challenger.
This looks more like the GOP 2016 primary.

Reading between the lines, they are control freaks and want a staid predictable outcome.

I’m pulling for Bernie.
I’m delighted it will be a legit primary and the party will figure out how they want to go forward, hopefully not just with an anti-Trump platform. The US needs two+ parties legitimately trying to solve our issues.

Personally I think there is a lot of hate underlying the religion of political correctness and this hate tends to emotionalise people against others in an irrational way.

Donald Trump is the obvious target of such irrational hate.

For me watching the Democratic Primary it will be interesting to see how much irrational hate is generated against each candidate. The front runners are likely to be the main targets and for a segment of people it will be hard to walk back because the hate is so intense from these people.

It will be interesting for example how much people are willing to associate Biden with the Klan and as a racist in order to bring him down. If the hate is intense enough and Biden is the candidate he might lose an extra 5% to 10% of the black vote which will be a big thing, not to mention white Progressives.

So why do you watch this irrational hate? Is it a carryover from the irrational hate of the 2016 Republican primaries? Had to be irrational since now Cruz, Rubio, and Rush Limbaugh et al are now in Trump’s camp, a more “rational” position.

The hate is so pervasive it is difficult to avoid it. I try to ignore it as much as possible but the Democratic Primary will be interesting because the hate will be turned against itself. The Left has the religion of political correctness and victim politics which allows the hate of designated groups that do not bend the knee to P.C.

You can oppose someone outside of an attachment to the hateful P.C. philosophy.

Democrats have moved so far left, that they make Obama 2008 look republican.
