I saw the video-she clearly dissed stay at home Moms.Of course i suspect the fact the Romneys have 5 children also drives the lefts contempt for them. I am sure they wonder why they weren’t using contraception or aborted a couple of those children

Right! I actually have to pay double for the pleasure of homeschooling my kids AND the Democrats in my state are trying to exclude homeschooled kids from participating in public school athletic programs.

She expanded her comments to include all women in the context of the economy, and that is simply undeniable.

This wasn’t a “so-called attack on stay at home moms”, just ones who have “never worked a day in their lives”.

Emphasis mine. Working women AND struggling women? Why didn’t she just say “working women”, and why did she say “women in general”??

Just because Mitt Romney is wealthy does not mean it was not hard work for Ann and him to bring up 5 children. Ann has struggled with MS and breast cancer, I heard of a story where she sat at the back of a college classroom breastfeeding while trying to hear what the teacher was saying.

I’ve never met anyone who has never held a paying job in their entire lives, except some hadicapped folks.

Raising children is not legitimate “work”. It doesn’t count. She might as well have been sitting on the sofa eating bon-bons.

The only “paying job” most of the men in my family ever held was when they served in the army.

Its her own fault. With the ready availability of contraception and abortion there is absolutely no excuse for having too many children to keep you out of the work force.

She expanded her comments when? Before or after she pointed out Mrs Romeny’s lack of experience to speak to working women’s issues?

Why should she restrict herself to working women? All that matters in analysis of the ‘never working’ comment is that she linked it to Romney’s recently expressed concerns for the plight of working women. He is the one who made them central the discussion of women’s issues in general. He had the choice to make stay at home moms central to the debate and that would have been a totally legitimate strategy too.

She expanded her comments to all women before Ann Romney was even mentioned.
With respect to the economic issues, I think actually that Mitt Romney’s right that ultimately women care more about the economic well being of their families and the like. But he doesn’t connect on that issue either.”

She doubled down on “all women” right before slamming Ann Romney for "never working a day in her life:
“What you have is Mitt Romney running around the country saying, ‘Well, you know, my wife tells me that what women really care about are economic issues’ and, ‘When I listen to my wife, that’s what I’m hearing,’” she said…She’s never really dealt with the kinds of economic issues that a majority of the women in this country are facing in terms of how do we feed our kids, how do we send them to school and how do we — why we worry about their future.’

Note the context: all women “care about the economic well being of their families and the like”, not just “working women”, the same with “women really care about economic issues”, and “a majority of women” regarding feeding their kids, etc.

“Working women” in NEVER mentioned, Rosen expands the topic to women in general, and even stated so today.

Your twisting of logic to defend these comments aren’t reflecting well on you.

Listen, after nearly 4 years of amateur time at the White House with a guy who never ran anything in his life, no one can claim that anyone running for office “isn’t qualified” or doesn’t have “enough experience”. Obama has proven that these two qualities are no longer necessary for the highest office in the country. All one needs are a large group of enthusiastic, emotionally driven, uninformed voters, alot of money, and the skill to use a teleprompter.

Yes, and most rational people will see this as an attack–and it was an attack. The statement basically implies that staying at home to care for children is NOT real work.
