I’m sorry to hear you are struggling and I will keep you in my prayers. I too am dealing with some of the same. I’m not sure of the degree of your affliction, but under no circumstances should you give up. Its a battle to get through each day when dealing with this type of thing, but have faith and trust in Jesus. Stay close to Him and He will walk you out of this.
Obviously you should see a priest. It sounds easier said than done. It took me a number of tries and fails until I was able to find a priest who was willing to help me. But do not lose heart. I realize now that God led me to who was the best person for me, so the others saying no was a grace. Keep trying until you find someone. In the meantime, here are things I have been told to do and which have helped me and may also help you:
- Regular confession and even a general confession: General confession is where you confess all your sins from your whole life. Confession is the best exorcism, demons will usually actually leave in the confessional, in other cases they must be cast out. However, once you confess you sins, they have no legal right to you. (unless there is something like a curse involved, then the curse must be broken before they can leave) Also, when you are free of sin Satan cannot as easily harass you.
- Daily mass: make Jesus your best friend, as He wants to be. Receive Him worthily and He will be your spiritual protection.
- Develop a prayer life: especially pray the rosary everyday without fail. The rosary is a powerful prayer against evil. Reach out to Mary for her help and protection. Also pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet, especially at the 3 pm hour. There have been times when I’ve been under attack and once the clock struck 3 pm I prayed the Chaplet and appealed to Jesus for the sake of His sorrowful passion for help and He immediately intervened. It works.
- Daily Bible reading: especially the gospels. This was hard for me because I could not focus on or understand what I was reading. I found however a free audio bible online and was able to focus better by both listening and following along.
- Adoration: as often as possible. I have experienced the release of demons in Adoration. Also while you are there you may want to consider doing the Stations of the Cross, demons can’t stand it. And you can offer it up for any intention; such as your deliverance, for Holy Souls or reparation for your sins. (if you offer it up for Holy Souls it can be considered an act of Mercy - see below)
- Praise: this was SO hard for me. When under attack, Jesus kept telling me to praise Him. The last thing I wanted to do was give praise when feeling the weight of evil against me and never mind the fact that I did not know exactly how to praise. After many great fails, it dawned on me that I had seen Psalms that spoke of praise. Simply reading them out loud calmed things and I felt Jesus’ presence.
- Trust in Jesus: this is perhaps the most important of all. Again easier said than done. I too struggle with this even knowing all that Jesus has done for me and has shown me throughout this battle. Know that there is nothing that happens to you that He does not allow for your betterment. Before my experience I was spiritually dead and slowly but surely I’m being reborn into a new person in Christ in the worst, but also the best way. One thing Jesus repeatedly tells me is not to fear. He is in control. If you are under attack somehow its because He loves you and wants to draw you to Himself through it. It is not easy, but it can be done if you remain faithful. He will never forsake you.
- Alms and Love: this may seem unrelated but its quite important. Give alms and do acts of charity. mercy and love. Demons cannot stand such good works. I’ve experienced - instant - release when doing these things. If you struggle with the will or desire to do so (harassment and oppression can decrease our will to do all things Godly) then pray for it. Especially in your rosary. Mary has given me many graces to do things that I know I could not do on my own.
- Fasting: I’m not going to recommend that you fast. In circumstances like these, I think fasting should only be done under the recommendation and supervision of a priest.
Also if you are being attacked in your home or suspect that there is some type of attachment there you should discard or burn anything that is unholy. That could include occult materials (astrology books, superstitious items), movies or music etc. Demons will use such items to claim a legal right to your home. Hang up crucifixes. Bless your home with holy water and also yourself. Make your home holy, leave no room for the enemy.
One last thing – if you are being attacked at night, say the Divine Praises (Blessed be God… Blessed be His Holy Name… etc) out loud while sprinkling holy water on the windows and doors of your bedroom and also your bed.
That’s all I can think of right now, if you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
Do not give up
