Denominations Dont Matter- Its all about Jesus

When i talk to some non catholic frinds about the history of the church where the bible came from etc all i get back is " Its all about Jesus and as long as we love him then thats all that matters" Are there any sughgested approaches coz I find that a real road block.

Actually, you can’t discuss this with them because they just shove it aside. That is where they are - and they truly believe that “it’s all about Jesus and as long as we love him then that’s all that matter,” even though they may disagree among each other as to what that actually means to them. Your best bet - don’t discuss. Only answer if asked.

My response is that there aren’t any denominations, there is one true church built by Christ upon the Rock Peter. All others are seperated brothers, Christian sects splintered from that one true church.
