An earlier post said the 'teenage years are the roughest" and boy is that ever true. As a teenager I was not in with the “in” crowd…no sororities…nothing like that and I never felt like going to any school events just because I wasn’t a member of the “in crowd”…Now, 40 years later…How much I’ve grown…I wish I had been more active in my Church but at the time I was not Catholic and although I believed in God…I never really got to know Him. Don’t ever feel like no one cares for you. We all go through that and the truth is that your very best friend is God…He is in your heart…and your soul…and the very being of you. I shouldn’t give advice here but I strongly encourage you to talk to the Youth counselor or priest and find a way through God’s Church to make a difference. My husband has pancreatic cancer and I find that making “bottles of Hope” and distributing them to cancer centers and oncology wards at the hospitals greatly helps. I’ve healed from my teenage days and now look to God in everything. Please know that YOU ARE LOVED and all of us here at the CAF care deeplyf or you and our commitment to you is to keep you in our prayers…Any time you feel down…just look around at all the glorious things that God has given you…He has a great plan for you that just has not yet unfolded…and remember God’s time sometimes seems a lot slower than “our time”…But we’re here for you and love you.

You are not alone. God is with you and he loves you. Let him do his work, stop worring. Believe in him and repeat several times; In God I trust. Please don’t forget to praise him with your open hearth. Acknowledge him all he has given you and done for you. A new day will come for you.
