O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, pay heed to my cry, turn your ear to my prayer, no deceit is on my lips. Amen

We know that you often place these challenges in our lives to help with our formation, and you always provide a way out, but things have become very hard on our sister and we ask for your blessings, mercy, and indication of your unconditional love to strengthen her and help her to follow the path you have for her life. Please grant Diane strong faith, courage, and continued hope in your divine providence, O Lord. Please also bless her dear mother and help Diane to find suitable employment with benefits. Lord, our sister has been through a tremendous amount in the last several months and years, and we ask for some share of peace and grace for her now.

Eternal God, when my spirit has burned to ashes, ground to dust with a boulder of mute and heavy sorrow, please give me trust in Your personal love for me.

When mine, or others’ mistakes or uncaring have wounded and savaged my heart, where are You to restore what is injured even when I plead for Your intervention and strive to heal the damage? And yet, though You seem absent, I still humbly cry out for Your mercy and healing.

When my efforts leave me helpless with no path left to try, please comfort me and show me a new path.

When others undermine with repeated assaults and short-circuit my resolve, send wise friends to comfort and support me. For no sooner has one problem and heartache eased or resolved than another, equally painful, arises for another or myself.

I seek You but sometimes am left to feel You are heartlessly steeled against me and my life becomes a flat salt desert. Please help me to trust in You even then, when trust no longer seems possible.

My heart cries out repeatedly, groping in the helplessness of fears, disappointments and grief that words cannot convey; screaming in the silence of my brain. Is my only comfort, some day, death?

Yet still I call on You and place my tatters of faith in You.

Lord, we place before you continuing petitions on behalf of our sister in Christ and her mother. In Your mercy, provide for their needs, both temporal and spiritual, in the coming days. May the prayers of the faithful rise to Your Throne, calling Your Heavenly graces down upon them. Grant them an outpouring of fortitude which will carry them through that which lies ahead. We ask this through the perfect intercession of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Your only Son, Who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! In Diane’s silence we sense pain and sadness, and no good change.
Lord once again I ask Your powerful assistence for Diane, and for employment, for healing of her physical and emotional pain, and a new beginning.
