Lord, You hear our daily prayers on behalf of Diane and her mother. We beseech You to continue revealing Your mercy to them, granting them the gift of fortitude so that they are able to persevere in faith. Father, we know that You are never far from them, waiting for their plea. Assure them of Your constant presence and fill them with renewed joy in this season which gives hope to the entire suffering world. Grant this through the perfect intercession of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Your only Son, Who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Almighty and loving Father, I thank you for giving St. Gerard to us as a most appealing model and powerful friend. By his example, he showed us how to love and trust you. You have showered many blessings on those who call upon him. For your greater glory and my welfare, please grant me the favors which I ask in his name.

And you, my powerful patron, intercede for me before the throne of God. Draw near to that throne and do not leave it until you have been heard. O good saint, to you I address my feverent prayers; graciously accept them and let me experience in some way the effects of your powerful intercession. Amen.
 
Father in Heaven, each of us is entirely dependent upon Providence for our very existence. Grant to Diane and her mother that which they need in this life.
