Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Blessed Jesus, this day presents anew the difficulties of this life. Christ Jesus, You have overcome this world, and so we pray that You will accompany Diane and her mother throughout this day. Reveal Your love to them, and reassure them of the trustworthiness of Your Father’s promises. Patience, fortitude and strength grant unto them, O Lord, that they struggle on through each new day, praising Your Holy Name. Amen!

A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen.

Lord, allow us to pester you with prayer on behalf of Diane and her mother. We beseech You to ease their journey and provide for them, according to Your holy will. Amen.

Amen.

Loving God,

We lift up our continued intentions on behalf of our sister Diane and her mother and ask for your mercy and blessings for them, dear Lord. Please grant Diane healing, strong faith, courage, and continued hope in your divine providence. We ask especially for the gift of healing for Diane during the challenging times she currently faces.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, empowered by your Holy Spirit, who live and reign with you, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

Prayers that the Lord will accompany them on their personal via dolorosa, as they struggle toward the crown of eternal glory that awaits them at the end of this short life. Amen.

Father in heaven, may the power of Your love envelope Diane and her mother in a shroud of peace. Grant them spirits that resist the negative forces of this world, and which strive always toward eternal bliss in Your Kingdom. Graciously provide for their daily needs. We ask this through the intercession of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen!

In faith, Lord, we place Diane and her mother in your loving arms. May our petitions bring heavenly help to them, which will overshadow them with Your love, and provide for their sustenance. In Your unfathomable mercy, grant them spiritual healing and comfort. Give them, O Lord, the courage to abandon themselves into Your divine providence. We ask this through the constant and eternally powerful intercession of Your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen!
