Give us this day, O Lord, the strength we need to live our lives in loving service of Your Kingdom. Let us thank You for both the good and the bad which befalls us, as all is directed at the perfection of our souls. May Your hand gently lead Diane and her mother through this day, remaining ever close to comfort them in their time of trial. We ask this through our risen Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen. Alleluia!

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Loving God,

We lift up our continued intentions on behalf of our sister Diane and her mother and ask for your mercy and blessings for them, dear Lord. Please grant Diane healing, strong faith, courage, and continued hope in your divine providence. We ask especially for the gift of healing for Diane during the challenging times she currently faces.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, empowered by your Holy Spirit, who live and reign with you, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven,

thy kingdom come
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Desperately need prayers Update - Originally posted by Onwillowbay

My dear friends I love you all so much. Your prayers mean so much to me. I am still looking for work. Haven’t had an unemployment check since August due to a glitch in a former employer’s paperwork. I did get approved for food stamps ($25/month) but it is getting hard on mom. So far, we have been able to borrow some money from my aunt to pay bills but mom is still in the doldrums. Last night she said she was just tired of living and I told her I needed her with me and not to ever say that. She means so much to me but says she never thought we would end up like this. I didn’t either but God must be holding some special something for us and we are barely managing (but managing) to keep the rent paid. I had applied for disability due to my back’s pain which is so severe at times I can’t get out of bed but was turned down (I haven’t had insurance or been to a dr in 3 yrs so I couldn’t prove it). I kkeep all of you in my prayers. The list is endless and my prayer list is so long. I love you so much. Just thinking of all of your own problems/illnesses and yet you still pray for us…Please know our prayers are with each and every one of you each day. I don’t have much money but still manage to lite a candle at mass for all of us here at the CAF with so many needs. I love you forever from the depths of my being. God has given me a great gift in you. Diane

God has not abandoned us, because God is love. He loves the world he made, and he loves us, broken though we are.

With Prayer, All Things are Possible.
Your sister in Christ, Diane

MARIAN PRAYERS OF
SAINT ANSELM # 1
(A.D. 1033-1109)
Mary, I beg you,
by that grace through which the Lord is with you
and you will to be with him,
let your mercy be with me.
Let love for you always be with me,
and the care for me be always with you.
Let the cry of my need,
as long as it persists,
be with you,
and the care of your goodness,
as long as I need it,
be with me.
Let joy in your blessedness
be always with me,
and compassion for my wretchedness,
where I need it,
be with you.

Lord, no spiritual desert is so vast when we ponder Your greatness and the power contained in Your love of us. This day, we lift our sisters, Diane and her mother, up to You. May their testing be comforted by angels ministering to them. We pray that their poverty will open the hearts of those around them to the Gospel call of Your Son. Graciously sustain them this day, both with temporal care and with spiritual fruit which will remain through eternity. Grant this, O Loving God, through the intercession of our risen Savior Jesus Christ. Amen. Alleluia!

In Your mercy Lord, let them fall not into despair. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and renew them in faith. May their burden be lightened and their hearts lifted as they patiently await deliverance from this test of their faith. We ask this through the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Amen. Alleluia!
Amen!

“No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your strength, but with the temptation will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it” 1 Corinthians 10:13

Lord in heaven, mercifully grant strength unto Diane and her mother - strength which will carry them through this day in great faith. May our continuing prayers help, in some small way, to lend them support in their time of testing. Grant this, O loving Father, through the intercession of our risen Savior Jesus Christ. Amen. Alleluia!

Grant unto them, O Lord, the needs which they have in this life, and save them from all despair. Give them a vision of eternity so that they might no longer consider their plight in this life, but only Your promises for the next. Fill them with hope, which had its birth on that Sunday morning so long ago. If You will, look past our sinfulness and hear the petitions, which come from our hearts, on behalf of our sisters in Christ. We ask this through our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen. Alleluia!

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

I have placed my petitions before Your Son, O heavenly Father. May His perfect and loving intercession call Your favor down upon Diane and her mother. When all appears lost and darkness intrudes, fill their hearts with renewed hope that has come to us through the suffering, death and resurrection of Your only Son, our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen. Alleluia!
