Desperately need prayers

I am wondering if you look at your situation in a different manner such as this: think of it as satan attacking your family (which he is). This may take some of the burden off blaming Joe, yourself, whomever. This is not to say that we don’t take responsibility for our actions. However, the evil one is definitely trying to tear apart families. It’s happening everywhere. So he, the devil, is very real. If you think of it in this way, it may help. Pray the St. Michael prayer everytime something evil comes against you and your family. Families all over the world are being harrassed by the devil and his cohorts. Don’t let him ruin your love for Joe. I’m doing this myself, by the way. Hang in there, please. I love you.

Amen, Judi! 👍 A spiritual warfare prayer might just turn things around. Naturally, I am also continuing to pray for Diane, Joe, Diane’s mother and the entire situation.

Your not responsible for your husbands grown (still addicted son) Period. The ex-wife of Joe, along with Joe, and Jim should all be thanking your for saving his life…Period…(Or would they be more grateful if you had not called her ,and he died) …You did the right thing in helping him. You should go to Florida and get things straightened. Your Mom and Joe will be okay…Now, let’s say a prayer together…Dear Father, Help keep Diane strong in her faith, calm her nerves…we ask for healing for her, Joe and her Mom…Let financial help come her way, when she least expects it. We know that we should always only rely on you ,dear heavenly father…We know you will provide Diane with whatever she needs to get through her trials…You only want the best for one of your children…May your faith be all encompassing to Diane. Let her not falter in doubts at all, but solely rely on your strength…In Our Dear JESUS name we pray…Amen…Warmly, LynneMarie

I just want to let you know that I am still praying for you. I agree with Judi. I think a prayer to St. Michael would help you in your struggles.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.

To each of you I thank you for your prayers and continued messages of strength and hope for us. My mom is in ICU and was rushed there yesterday with some pretty heavy bleeding rectally. I stayed with her last night at the hospital and they are doinga procedure tomorrow am to see what it is. I came home this morning to get her past surgery information and take it back up to the hospital. Joe is not doing well. He is still having some really bad headaches (from the blod clot and bleeding in the head) and his appt with the neurosurgeons is in about a week. Meantime he is off chemo for a few weeks to give his body a rest. We did have a long talk and we are just going to try to make the best of this very bad situation until this lease is up and then decide whether or not to go back to Florida. Right now…with joe’s drs. and now My Mom’s drs…it isn’t feasible at all to make a move. Too much going on…Please continue to pray for them. I don’t have to tell you have much you all mean to me…i love you from the bottom of my heart. Satan will NOT destroy me. (or them)…Diane

Keeping you, your husband and your mom in my prayers. Keep praying and believing in the Lord, you are such a dear woman!
 
Diane I just saw my surgeon today, i have an intestinal hernia from my whipple operation, he says if it bothers me he can fix it if not leave it alone, now no pain so I’m leaving it alone. I cant bear the thought of 2-3 days at md anderson. Terrible memories and so much pain. I love what they do hate they have to do it and arent more successful. They dont have much ideas about pancreatic cancer it is a slow progress. I asked about the restravol and tumeric and they arent doing anything with them right now.

May God heal Joe as he healed me, may he not have to rely on the skill and efforts of man but he touch Joe with his healing hands, may your mo5ther only be having a reaction to stress and may the holy spirit provide you all the strength and guidance you can use. In Jesus name amen.
 
Blessed Lord, we beseech you to continue sending Your loving healing and protection upon this family. You have graciously strengthened them and provided hope where there was none. With Your love upon them, they have resisted the snares of the evil one. In Your Divine Mercy, dispatch Saint Michael the Archangel to do battle with the spirits of defeat which surround them, casting those agents of doom into the abyss. Mercifully continue to send Your healing graces upon Diane’s mother and husband, Joe, that they may sense Your presence and praise Your Name. Grant your Heaven sent abilities upon the medical staff who care for each of them. We pray that your mantle of love surrounds them, comforting them and shielding them from the attacks of this world. We ask this in the Glorious Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Lord have mercy
 
I have not been able to post for a few days. Mom is still in the hospital. They are doing a colonoscopy at this very moment. I am dividing my time between her and Joe. Joe has an appt with the dr this afternoon andyesterday he had to go have blood drawn to check in INR level and maybe adjust the coumadin. It is so hard not being in 2 places at once. I can only do the best I can but please keep praying for them. I’m on my way to the hospital now. Love and prayers to all of you. Diane
