My dear friend, I continue to pray for you, your husband and your mother. What a journey you have been on and continue to be. May you always know that the Lord is right there at your side every step you take. Know that you are loved by many and that our prayers are with you.

To All my dear brothers and sisters. First, let me thank you from my heart for all your prayers. I made it to Orlando and back, made it to the bankrtupcy hearing (wouldn’t you know I was the first one called). That was really hard…spilling Joe’s whole life out in front of 200 strangers (who were also filing bankruptcy) and …letting everyone know Joe just didn’t make it financially in this life)…I went by what was our old house and just broke down. While I was there A policeman was kind enough to give me a $200 ticket for making an illegal u-turn. (I didn’t see the sign because he was in a bucket half-way up in the air photographing cars and I was too busy making sure I didn’t hit him to see the sign)…he was radioing ahead and there were 5-6 unmarked cars giving tickets. I got one and found out the city couldn’t make payroll so this was “zero tolerance day”—I was on my way to my dad’s grave to pay my respects. The policeman that actually gave me the ticket apologized and said he wouldn’t have done it but it was bosses’ orders (by the way this is the FIRST TICKET I HAVE EVER GOTTEN IN MY LIFE)…On the flight home I DID have a panic attack but thank you God for not having them land the plane and put me in the hospital. This wonderful lady next to me helped me (and the stewardesses). When I get home you will not believe this part …guess what (here I am, bankrupt, no job, no insurance) and I get something in the mail nominating me to the Cambridge “who’s who among American Executive Women in America”…what could possibly be funnier than getting this type of honor in my situation…Joe is still very sick. I take him tomorrow for a CT (of his head this time to check the bleeding and blood clot) and next week it is a whole new round of chemo and now we add the neurosurgical team who must decide what to do about his head…My mom is my angel and has amazing strength. On the trip when I had my total and complete breakdown … if it weren’t for her talking me through it on the phone I would be in the hospital…I am not asking for prayers for me, though. Joe needs to get out of this apartment and do things (drs. orders). He needs to get his mind off what he is going through…PLEASE pray that he has gets and listens to the words of our loving God to do this…I am at such an all time low that I just can’t even talk on the phone right now. I just pray to God for strength and especially to be strong for Joe and Mom…God bless each of you. You know you are in my prayers each day. :grouphug: I love you all. diane

Hello Sister Dianne,

I’ve just said a prayer for you and your husband Joe and your mother. I’ll be sure to keep you in my prayers.

Oh, I think Dianne that you are a very strong person for having to cope this far with your troubles. Keep strong and remeber that the Holy Spirit is with you.

-Manny

Hi Diane,
I just put in prayer intention for another family. The wife has cancer and is dying in the hospital. I just happened to fall upon your thread. I am so sorry for your sadness and I will pray for you and Joe and you mother. Please keep your faith and have hope. Our Lord and God loves us so much, that is a lot to be joyful about.

My Lord Jesus Christ have mercy .
Give us hope and joy.
Amen

Praying for you still. Havent forgotten .

*Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus
Holy Mary, Mother of God
pray for us sinners now
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

*August Queen of the Heavens, heavenly sovereign of the Angels, Thou who from the beginning received from God the power and the mission to crush the head of Satan, we humbly beseech Thee to send Your holy Legions, so that under Thy command and through Thy power, they may pursue the demons and combat them everywhere, suppress their boldness, and drive them back into the abyss. Who is like God? O good and tender Mother, Thou will always be our love and hope! O Divine Mother, send Thy Holy Angels to defend me and to drive far away from me the cruel enemy. Holy Angels and Archangels, defend us, guard us. Amen.

Diane, look at the strength that you have received form the Lord. A few months ago, you would never have had the ability to withstand all of this. Rest assured that our prayers will continue to support you as best we can, but it remains our Lord who provides for your physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Amen!

Hi Diane,

Wow, you have been through alot! You are definately one tough cookie! That plane trip sounded awful and the award to boot!

This may not be much consolation to you, but I believe that eventually things will get better for you. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. " (Matt 11:28) You just got to keep praying and believing that it will get better. I’m including all of your intentions in my rosary tonight.

Here is one suggestion, if you have some free time. Try reading the psalms. It might cheer you up to know that David felt somewhat similar to you at times. And what is more amazing is that God never breaks a promise.

Lord let Diane look at herself through your eyes and the eyes of those who love and admire her, let her feel satisfaction in doing your will in being a pillar of strength for others and for humbly doing what she can for her family through hard times. Lord heal joe, let him see what you have provided to him in his mate and provide for this family, touch them with your healing hands and provide for all their needs, in your name amen

Hi Diane,
I continue to keep you, Joe and your mom in my prayers. What a roller coaster ride you have and continue to be on. Please know my dear friend that you are very special to me and to many here on the forum. I pray that you continue to let the Lord guide you through this even though it can be difficult at times. You have said that I inspire you, but you my friend have inspired me. May God bless you!:hug1:
