You continue to be in my prayers along with your husband and your mom. You show such strength during this difficult time may the Lord continue to be with you. As always I am glad to consider you a friend, even though it’s through cyber space. Love and hugs, Cassie

Lord of mercy and strength, grant your infinite compassion to Diane and her suffering family, sending them physical and spiritual healing through the intercession of the Saints and Angels. May Your tender mercies be upon them, leading them through this test of their faith. Restore them, O Father in Heaven, with renewed energy and health, to face that which lies ahead. Assure them of Your constant love and companionship, by sending Your Holy Spirit to accompany them. Draw them closer together in love, in reflection of Your love of us. Graciously join our prayers with those of the Heavenly Host to see them through this trial and bear them safely beyond it. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, the Son in Whom You are well pleased. Amen! Alleluia!

Joe and I see the neurosurgeon in about 2 hours. Please pray for succcessful results. Joe’s body is weak and I am praying surgery for the blood clot and bleeding in his head will not be required. He had chemo yesterday for his pancreatic cancer treatment. Today he is worn out and tired…I love him so much and with your prayers perhaps we can see a miracle by our loving God. Thank each and every one of you…I love you all. Diane

Lord Jesus send the holy spirit to provide the miracle we all pray for for Joe, heal all his infirmiries and provide your grace and comfort to him and his family, In Christ’s name amen

Jesus said that wherever two or more are gathered in his name, there he is, too

We just got back from the neurosurgeon. THANK YOU AND PRAISE GOD…No treatment surgically is needed for Joe unless his symptoms return…Our oncologist originally said that he thought this was the flu and Joe just didn’t have the strength to fight it off. This is exactly what the neurosurgeon said. The blood clot remains but is not affecting anything except his sinus. The bleeding has LESSENED…Praise God and thank youf or your prayers. AMEN AMEN
Diane

Lord Jesus, continue to heal Joe and this family so they may sing your praises and serve you, in your name, amen

Continuing in prayer…

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the Fruit of Thy Womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glad to hear you got some positive news, Diane. You, your husband and your mom continue to be in my prayers. Love and hugs!:hug1:

God bless you all my friends. I thank you again for your prayers. They get me through the day with strength and help me to really feel the presence of our Lord beside and within me. Today is another blood test to check the INR level in order to adjust Joe’s coumadin…My mom finally has her first visit today with a family physician since our move to PA from FL…All of you are in my prayers. Joe’s headaches have subsided but the chemo still has the nasty side effects to be expected…Please keep praying for him…Miracles are possible…even with pancreatic cancer…as seen with other beloved CAF members…I love you all. Diane

Lord of all, we thank You and praise Your Holy Name for Your goodness. We beseech You to continue looking with unfathomable compassion upon Joe, Diane, and her patient and suffering mother. Lord, draw them together in love and joy, revealing Your kindness to them. Mercifully guide them through this ordeal as You also guide the minds and hands of the physicians and all who minister to them. Grant each of them a view of eternity in Your Blessed Presence, so that this temporal world of pain may decrease and become bearable once again. Father, we ask that You strengthen them to withstand this on-going test, as well as all attacks of the evil one against their great faith in You. May their hearts be filled to overflowing with love of You and of one another. As well, may the evil on both sides serve to keep them on the narrow path that leads to Your Kingdom. Graciously hear our fervent prayers that on the wonderful day which You have created we shall, each of us, bask in the radiance of Your Glory, all thought and cares of this world having faded from our minds. Eternal and Fulfilling Lord, we ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, the Son in Whom You are well pleased, and Who, along with the Holy Spirit, dwell in Your presence for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Hail Mary,

The Lord is with thee.

Holy Mary,

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the Divine power of God, cast into hell satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen

Please intercede for Diane, her mother, and Joe

Loving God,

We lift up Diane, Joe, and Diane’s mom and ask for your mercy, comfort, healing, and strength in these very challenging and difficult times in their lives. Your sister Diane is having a very tough time but continues to share her prayers and hopes for others while enduring the suffering and hardships in her life. Please grant her special grace and strength during these times. Please send the comfort and warmth of the Holy Spirit to this family and give them hope that your unconditional love will see them through these times. We often do not understand why you give us the suffering and challenges in our lives Lord, please help Diane and Joe to hear your call and understand your Holy plan for their lives. Please help this family see the love you have for them and to receive assistance with all the areas of concern in their daily lives including financial, medical, insurance, and related problems that cause anxiety and worry. You will often bend, but never break us Lord, even though it seems sometimes that we are close to the point of breaking. Please encourage Diane, Joe, and Diane’s mom and give them peace and hope in You.

We pray in the name of your beloved son, our Lord Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

Joe is feeling the effects of chemo todday. He is just not himself. Mom went to the dr and she has to see a cardiologist. Tomorrow there is blood work for her to be done. I took joe over to Quest Diagnostics to have his blood drawn so the INR level could be checked in order for the dr to adjust his cumadin. BUT no call from the dr as of yet. I suppose he got the results too late in the day. At the drs office when the nurse was with my mom, I asked her if she thought the dr. might be kind enough to write 2 rxs for me (unemployed, no insurance) for my panic attacks and hormones. She emphatically said no and i started to cry. How hard this is and yet I don’t want to sound like I am begging for his help…i just stayed quiet while he was with my mom. After all it was her appt and not mine (I cannot afford to go and have been turned down by medicaid, etc. etc. etc.)…It’s too bad that our government medical programs don’t take into account how many dollars go out especially for Joe’s pancreatic cancer. But enough about me…I’ll manage and get through this. You guys are so loved by me and your prayers help me each day. Please keep praying for Joe and my mom (she is 84)…I am trying my best to be strong for them both …I love you all and ALL OF YOU are in my prayers each and every day. Diane

Dear Diane,

I haven’t posted for a long time but I check your prayer list here every single day. I pray for you and Joe and your mother daily in my rosaries. I can feel your pain and wish I didn’t feel so helpless to help you in all that you need. I know that you know that God loves you but sometimes it is so hard to feel that love when we feel that the world is totally out of touch with our needs and uncaring in their responses. Just know that all of us on here are praying daily for you to recieve the help and care that you need and that we will continue to stand with you for as long as you need us to! We love you, Diane!

Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known
That any one who fled to your protection,
implored your help
Or sought your intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto you,
O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To you I come, before you I stand,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
But in your clemency hear and answer me.
Amen.
