THANK YOU one and all for continued prayers. You will never ever know how much your prayers have helped us. I have struggled in darkness for a few days. The dr. on Friday said that Joe’s kidneys may be failing. We see the oncologist tomorrow but there is suuppsoed to be 8-12 inches of snow 2nite so I am hopeful the roads will be clear. I asked the Dr. if by “failure” he was saying Joe would need dialysis but the dr. said “oh, no” so I don’t know if he was saying that because of the sadness in Joe’s face and heart or if it could be true. To make matters worse, I am hearing voices. I have hear mom and joe call me (“diane”) at least 5 times in 2 weeks. I go to see what they want and they haven’t called me. Am I going mad? A dear friend says it could be stress. We just got home from Sunday night mass and all of you were held upwards to our Lord in my prayers. Please keep Joe in prayer. Miracles can happen and I believe in them. I am praying for each of you. God Bless you my dear, dear friends. Your prayers and emails have given me such strength to turn once again to our loving God for help. I am trying so hard to be strong. Sleep is only 2-4 hrs a night…(for me and for Joe)…Mom sees a cardiologist in a week and she has been having really high (185/110) blood pressure …My plate is so full yet your prayers lighten it so much for me. Heavenly Father, please continue to be with Diane and her family members…may they be aware of Your peace and presence throughout each moment of the day and night…bring comfort and renew their strength - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually…you are aware of all of their circumstances and we trust that You will meet each of their needs. Be with all of the Doctors and medical staff…grant them Your wisdom and lead them on. I praise You and thank You for all that You are doing and will continue to do…and out of this situation, may people be drawn closer to You and may Your Will be made clear to all those involved, including healing… if this is Your Will.
In Jesus precious, Holy name…amen.
 
Blessed Lord Jesus, we seek Your intercession with the Heavenly Father on behalf of this struggling family. Grant that healing graces flow from Heaven upon them. Grant Joe’s body the strength to fight the disease which threatens him; grant Diane’s mother a restoration of her health and spirit, and bless Diane with healing of mind, of body and of spirit in this time of severe trial. Graciously hear the endless stream of prayers on their behalf and implore the Father to take mercy upon them. In this mercy, may the events of their lives be ordered so that Your Divine Will be done. We ask this in Your Heavenly, Holy and Eternal Name, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Amen! Alleluia!

I have been holding you both up in prayer. Right now I will especially keep you in prayer. I know to a small degree what you are going through as I am caring for my wife who has been 100% disabled since 1992. My prayer for you is for strength and courage to face your daily trials. God must love you both very, very much to be sending you these burdens. The saints have all said that if God treats his friends this way, no wonder he has so few. The reward is not here.

Dean, Gablried, Cassie, Jim, Judi, (boy is the list long). First, many thanks for your prayers. I came close to a breakdown today but the prayers helped me get through. Joe is hanging in there–fighting a fierce battle to deal with the chemo and the cancer…His meds are changed at least once a week but he is doing better…I am prayerful that maybe the chemo will taper off a bit to get his body back to some sort of emotional healing. We see the cancer dr on Tuesday. Deacon, I read your post about especially holding me up in prayer today. Thank you and Thank you God. It was such a bad day that I nearly overdosed on some stress meds. All is well now and I am regretful to our Lord for having done that. God must have heard your prayers as well as everyone elses. I lov you guys–all of you. My prayer list is long each day and all of you are in it…I love you…and sending a hug to you all since i cannot be there in person to givve you one. Diane

Praise God that He has strengthened you. Call upon him in all times of trial, minute by minute if needed. Ask a LOT of questions of the oncologist, as their minds are not on your well-being, but that of Joe. May the Lord be your strength and your consolation. Continuing in prayer on behalf of all of you.
