I pray to St. Joseph to aid you getting employment …

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.

Will add prayers to St. Dymphna for your counseling to be effective for you…

Lord Jesus Christ, You have willed that St. Dymphna should be invoked by thousands of clients as the patroness of nervous and mental disease and have brought it about that her interest in these patients should be an inspiration to and an ideal of charity throughout the world. Grant that, through the prayers of this youthful martyr of purity, those who suffer from nervous and mental illness everywhere on earth may be helped and consoled. .

Be pleased to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna and of Your Blessed Mother. Give those whom I recommend the patience to bear with their affliction and resignation to do Your divine will. Give them the consolation they need and especially the cure they so much desire, if it be Your will. Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

God’s richest blessings upon you all. So many need so many prayers and yet you still pray for me. God has not sent a miracle yet. I’m still unemployed and not getting unemployment benefits. My mom (thank you Lord) is doing well but I am having some pretty unstable medical problems that scare me. With no insurance I can’t go to the dr and unless it gets absolutely worse can’t go to the E.R. because I can’t pay any bills. Mom and I are down to under $500 to live on but her social security and the small pension keeps a roof over our head but not much food on the table. I tried calling for food stamps today and after an hour hold got a recording that they were closed for the day. I’ll try again tomorrow and have to get through by Wed (when my appointment dates end). I called Social Security and have a telephone interview set up in about 10 days to see if I qualify for any type of early benefits. My lower back pain is intolerable to the point I can’t move it too much without a great deal of pain. My sister owns 2 houses and yesterday she called. Mom and I asked her if she would consider selling her 2nd home (it’s not much and in a really unsafe neighborhood-her main home is huge and both are completely paid for) and maybe help us out. She said “No I can’t do that”…I got off the phone and mom started crying. Makes me wonder about brotherly love. I never gave a 2nd thought to taking care of dad for the 18 months after his stroke until his death, mom through a major heart bypass and hysterectomy and Joe through Pancreatic cancer. I am not angry though…I expected her to say that. She lives in Memphis and didn’t even come down for her own father’s funeral. But that’s in God’s hands. We are going to mass everychance we get and God always seems to help me find a 10 or 20 to put in the collection plate. We save up to light candles for all of you. We can only light one but the prayer is for every one of you. Judy, Jim, Jhash, Trishie, Mom, Tradek, Justin, the list is endless…we pray for you each day and will always do so. I love you all so much. Hang in there with me. It is hard to sit at the computer because of my back and I can’t get much typing done. I love you guys. You are my Rock and my Foundation to build upon. God touches me through each of you.
I’ll love you forever.
Diane

Heavenly Father,
In this time of need, strengthen her. You are our strength and our shield; You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. I know, Father, that Your eyes go to and fro throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts long for You. The body grows weary, but my hope is in You to renew her strength. Help her not to fear, for You are with her. Help her not to be dismayed or overwhelmed, for You are our God. I know You will strengthen her and help her; that You will uphold her with Your righteous hand. Even as the shadows of illness cover her, let her feel the comfort of Your strength. Thy will be done. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.

Lord Jesus, hear our prayers for Diane and her family. Amen

Lord, as You have provided for Diane and her mother throughout their lives, we pray that You will grant them an increase in faith and trust. You have not forgotten about Your servant and have always strengthened her to carry on when all seemed lost. Breathe Your Holy Spirit upon her, granting her the peace which Your only Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, left with us. Through the Blessed Eucharist, Your Son is with us - even to the end of the age. Grant that Diane’s reception of this Sacrament will restore that peace, and fortify her to look far beyond her current situation and into the perfection of Your presence. Grant this through the same Lord Jesus Christ, Who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Jesus please help Diane and her mother. You must believe Diane is incredibly strong to go through all that she has, but please be so kind as to make things easier for her. Her faith has shone out before us for so long, and surely will glow gloriously in heaven…please now reward her faith and faithfulness with healing, peace, and life that is no longer desperate. We Honor You for her, for Your life in her, but implore You now to give her relief and happiness.

May you be a woman of Christ, strengthened and righteously blessed, may you have a heart of peace and love, a heart hard upon the Lord, a heart seeking only His Will and His Love.
For the just, there is peace and understanding.
May God’s face shine upon you, may He give you His Mercy, may His Countenance be upon you and may He give you His Peace.

This I pray for you and your mom. May you especially be blessed.

Loving God,

We lift up our continued intentions on behalf of our sister Diane and her mother. Lord, our sister has endured much suffering, many trials, and has been faced with many difficult choices. We know that you often place these challenges in our lives to help with our formation, and you always provide a way out, but things have become very hard on our sister and we ask for your blessings, mercy, and indication of your unconditional love to strengthen her and help her to follow the path you have for her life. Please grant Diane strong faith, courage, and continued hope in your divine providence, O Lord. Please also bless her dear mother and help Diane to find suitable employment with benefits. Lord, our sister has been through a tremendous amount in the last several months and years, and we ask for some share of peace and grace for her now.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, empowered by your Holy Spirit, who live and reign with you, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.
