May God keep these men safe and bless them abundantly for their work. May their efforts to keep people safe from Ebola and their missionary efforts in genral be successful.
Mary.

There is a thread in *Prayer Intentions * and a poster who lives in Nigeria who has said the disease is now being contained. But may God specially bless those with extraordinary courage and faith.

Thank God, the situation in Nigeria was very limited. The disease involved one air traveler and a small number of persons he infected. The government was able to quickly quarantine the individuals who were at risk.

The Nigeria cases were particularly alarming because they occurred hundreds of miles from the three countries where Ebola is out of control. Those countries (Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea) all share a common border. Unfortunately, that border is porous and checkpoints easily evaded. This has prevented authorities from enforcing quarantine. If Nigeria had been unable to do so, I think the entire world would be alarmed.

The missionaries who are remaining with the peoples they are serving are courageous. They are willing to risk their lives, much as Christ offered up his own life, when it would be easier to run. I think their example is deeply Christian, and worthy of imitation.

This is amazing. These individuals have put others before them. May God bless them
