I have to ask now, because I’m just so curious: What was the Devil’s Train of Thought?
Did he simply love himself too much?
Could his rebellion be based on his disdain towards us, humans, who get to have free will, a soul, etc?
Did he not like the idea that God would condescend and become a man, as though to think, “I cannot serve a God who becomes Man!”?
I once heard something, a legend maybe, that the demons hated the idea that a mere created woman would become Queen of Heaven, was it that?
Or was it the ENTIRE culmination of these things and more?
I know it couldn’t be that the Devil thought he could win, I feel that he was well aware of that fact (hence this question).

(Mormons have a ready answer: Mormon God presented
a plan requiring a Savior, ‘Lucifer’ said " Here am I. Send
me! …," then Jesus said," Father, thy will be done, and
the glory be thine forever." Mormon God chose Jesus,
then ‘Lucifer’ became Satan, his followers the demons. **
uh…Yeah No.
