That argument fails because this forum like most other forums are moderagted.
Evidently “cheeto” is not censored.
And quick search----good honesty, but still not good methodology.
Show me your data.
Oh, and I noticed how you avoided responding to the nazi part. Guess that one’s not as easy to excuse, huh?
Didn’t bother to look. The first search made it clear that your claim was not grounded in reality. Indeed, you (and M68) are among the more frequent users of the word.

Except for the banned persons who used the term. Their posts have been removed.

Protesting unjust laws and those who enforce them is never rude.

Disrespecting people for expressing their views is rude.
Amen.

If the Conservatives acted with the same disrespect and lack of class to Leftist politicians asked to address a public audience there would be virtual apartheid.

Only one side is acting with class and it is obvious who that is.

I shudder to think what will happen if the Conservatives decide it is a just tactic to continuously act with such a lack of charity and class.

Seems counterproductive considering the Trump has publically supported historically black universities. The student’s behavior certainly doesn’t give Trump a lot of incentive to continue. African Americans have consistently given 90% of their votes to Democrats, with very little to show. Trump has reached out to that community. Slapping his hand away makes it more likely that Republicans will ignore African Americans and Democrats will take them for granted.

I think Hillary put her foot in a trap with that 'deplorables" and “irredeemables” business. I know people who absolutely didn’t like Trump, didn’t vote for him in the primary, but gradually became more accepting and voted for him in the general. I think a great number of people were solidified for Trump and motivated to get to the polls when they realized when Hillary talked about “deplorables” and “irredeemables”, she was talking about them or their family members or even their socioeconomic class.
I couldn’t agree more that she put her foot in a trap. It didn’t help that the press (all of it – from Fox and Daily Caller to CNN and the New York Times) misrepresented what Clinton said about “deplorables.” I’ve posted the complete quote here at CAF before. That said, it was a dumb thing for her to say. I think I understand what she was trying to say, but it was a dumb way to say it.

A certain percentage of Trump supporters were deplorable. That’s a pretty mild word, actually, for those who were chanting "Trump that b*h" at his rallies. Wouldn’t you agree?
And now and then Trump does something with which they agree or partly agree, and a lot of people can see it among the venom and feather storm the left is throwing up. People often sympathize with underdogs, particularly if they consider themselves to be in that category. One would never think anyone could turn a billionaire into an underdog, but I think the left might well be succeeding in doing it.
Trump is doing it. He is, if nothing else, a savvy marketer. I think he’s kind of reached the limits of what can be marketed, but he’s been really good at it until now.
In my opinion, if the left had more sense, they would let it die down and hope for Trump to make some real mistake, and if not him, at least the Repub congress which is almost sure to oblige. The left is not really obscuring everything Trump does that a lot of people want, but they’re making themselves look like a herd of swamp creatures.
I couldn’t agree more. The left (it’s not really the left – there is barely any left in America, but I’ll go along with the word for convenience) ought to be building for the future rather than wasting energy on attacking a man who will almost certainly destroy himself.

Neither form of language is acceptable by Christian standards.

But the deplorable comment by Clinton backfired 110% and the left is too full of pride and self-righteousness to admit it.

I think that racism, for example, is deplorable by Christian standards. If, however, you are getting at hate the sin love the sinner I would agree.
You really haven’t the foggiest idea of what “the left” thinks, do you? It is clear to all that the comment hurt her. But that was not because of the spoken sentiment, which was both inclusive and prescient. The problem was that it was so easily spun into a damaging misrepresentation. That’s part of the game, of course. But that part of the game is not acceptable by Christian standards, even though it all too frequently played here.

Who doesn’t?

Problem is many on the left think that whatever they don’t agree with is racism because they can’t answer with the facts.

I try use the term to differentiate between classical liberals and people who think there is racism and sexism under every rock.
