DH in ICU, need prayers! Thanks!

He’s home!!! :extrahappy: I had to get creative on how to get him home, and I won’t have a car until Monday- but he’s home!!!

He has physical therapy at least three times a week on an outpatient basis, and dialysis for the next two weeks three times a week.

I am feeling Our Lord’s Presence by my side every minute. Thank you all for praying, and continuing to pray. I am doing the same.

Father of Glory, as we draw near to Holy Week, Your Divine Goodness draws near to us. You reveal Your love for us through the daily miracles that arrive, then depart. In our brother Mario, You alone have preserved his life though pure mercy and love. Your Blessed Son Jesus raised the grieving widow of Nain’s son to life (Luke 7:11) and presented him to her alive. Exactly so have you raised Mario from clinical death to life. In like manner, You presented him to his loving wife and family. Your mercy confounds our attempts to understand it, Lord. We praise You. We bless Your Holy Name. We Love You Lord, for Your steadfast love of us. We proclaim this through the saving power of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen! Alleluia!

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.

Well, last evening he had dialysis at a dialysis center of a different are hospital. They were brusque with him, and would not listen to him. They had not read his chart, did not even know what meds he’s on.

About 3 1/2 hours into CRRT, his blood pressure started to drop,and there was no more fluid to get. Instead of calling the doctor, listening to Mario, or stopping dialysis, this crew continued on the full four hours.

End result: He had to be carted to our friend’s car by wheelchair, and could not get into the car himself.

So that’s where need prayer. We also need prayer for insurance reviews and Social security on March 20th and March 26th. Please pray we get all the paperwork necessary, and that these organizations will do what they are supposed to do.

I am still praying and offering for all of CAF, esp. last night.
 
Gracious and loving Lord, as we complete our Lenten journey, a spiritual odyssey with the Holy Spirit, we gratefully thank You and praise You for the incredible mercy shown to Your servant, Mario. As You continue to bless his family and loved ones with his recovery, appeal to the hearts of those who care for him, allowing them to see him as the beloved husband and father that he is. How much more beloved a creation is he, O Lord, in Your eyes! Soften their hearts, that they may see their own suffering in Mario’s, that they will show him care and concern as they would their loved ones. Father of Mercy, as the ultimate redemption of Your Suffering Son, our Lord Jesus, draws so near to us, may we increase the fervency of our prayer, that You will not be able to rest until granting our petitions! Kindly remember Mario’s family with spiritual graces, and blessed financial assistance that is reserved for those who rely solely on Your mercy. As they have worried over Mario’s life, and their own faith, graciously provide for them as they enter the Blessed Easter season. May all of us who hope in Christ bless Your Holy Name and lift it up in Eternal Praise to Highest Heaven! Amen! Alleluia!

Lord, as You continue to heal Mario and hear the praise of his family, mercifully honor the prayers of the faithful, who bear witness to your miraculous mercy. Love will sustain them through any trial, Lord, as it has through this ordeal. In Your Divine Wisdom, You have tested them and found them worthy of Your Kingdom. May they praise Your Holy Name each day of their lives, giving thanks to the Only One who was faithful and loved them from the beginning of creation. Father, Son and Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen!

The kidneys are kicking in, THANK YOU LORD AND BLESSED MOTHER!!! His dialysis has been lowered to 2 times a week, from three times a week. The amount of fluid they take off has gotten smaller, from 3 liters to 1.5 liters to .9 liters.
 
Still praying for a full recovery and healing.
