DH was injured in the Marine Corps, which led to a brain injury. For the last year and a half, he has been taking medication for the issue.
We married in May, and he began working at he VA in August.
The VA cut him from 5 days a week to 3 days a week (because he is working too quickly on the current project).
He got sick (the meds wreck his immune system) and his meds have quite working as they should be.
DH didn’t work his third day last week, and did not go in today.
HR said if he missed another day, he’d be fired. DH cannot even get out of bed (the brain injury effects him both physically and cognitivelly), let alone drive and spend a full day at work.
I am in my last year of school (after 7 years of working at it) so he and my parents don’t want me to quit. But DH won’t accept state assitance while we get all this craziness figured out.
I don’t know what to do, and I keep crying about it because I am so overwhelmed. I now have a 3 year old to care for, a disabled DH to take care of (and we don’t know what is wrong), and I am trying to get my student teaching taken care of…

Our Lady of Perpetual Help,

Please guide this woman and this man, who so bravely endure each day to what your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, wants for them. Help hold this strong woman up each day who does as you did for your Son, bravely and quietly go through life, doing what has to be done. Please bring her strength and also peace. Pave for her a seamless way to finish her education to begin to financially provide what she can. Help her to not get discouraged or think she deserves better, because we all know Jesus deserved so much better. Help her to join her sufferings to Christ each day, that He will be her strength and her guide. We pray that her husband be brought into health and happiness for that which he has given so bravely for us. Release him from whatever things bind his mind in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. Comforter of the troubled, alleviate P&L’s and her husband’s worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant them the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore DH to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your holy will and know that whatsoever you do, you do for the love of us. AMEN

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

Most Merciful Jesus, I pray for this family. Grant them peace. AMEN

  1. Mother dearest, Mother fairest,
    Help of all who call on thee.
    Virgin purest, brightest, rarest,
    Help us, help, we cry to thee.
    Refrain:
    Mary, help us, help, we pray,
    Mary, help us, help, we pray;
    Help us in all cares and sorrows,
    Mary, help us, help, we pray.
  2. Lady, help in pain and sorrow,
    Soothe those racked on bed of pain.
    May the golden light of morrow
    Bring the health and joy again.
    Refrain:
    Mary, help us, help, we pray,
    Mary, help us, help, we pray;
    Help us in all cares and sorrows,
    Mary, help us, help, we pray.

I have placed your petitions within my heart and will carry them with me to Mass and I will remember your petitions in my daily prayers.

Praying … :gopray:

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

And may our merciful Father embrace you & your family in these trying times.

Praying for your family,take one day at a time,honey and trust GOD,HE will supply your needs.
