Diagnosed with heart condition...prayers requested

Dear all,

If you wouldn’t mind, please pray for my health. I was diagnosed today with something called mitral valve prolapse, which is a heart disorder. It shouldn’t effect me except for the occasional dizzy spell, but in rare cases, people with MVP have suffered cardiac arrest and died. So your prayers are definitely appreciated.

Merciful Lord Jesus, may the blood of Your Sacred Heart, shed at Calvary for us, he the healing agent in the suffering heart of Thepeug. Every cell of our bodies responds to Your command. Graciously permit Your healing Grace to settle upon Thepeug, that the heart valve be healed, as was the withered hand of the man on whom You took pity. Hear the prayers of the faithful and strengthen us to place full faith and trust in You, Lord Jesus. Amen.

I also have mvp,and has never been an issue for me,I was diagnosed 37yrs ago,I will keep you in my nightly prayers.

My son has had this condition all of his life. He was a very good athlete and never had any problems. He is 46 now and still plays basketball several times a week. I suspect you won’t have any major problems with this. Praying for you.

I was born with MVP, as well as with aortic stenosis–another heart valve problem.
The doctors had to repair the aortic stenosis (by replacing the aorta) when I was 57 years old; the MVP never gave me any problems at all…Just be sure to tell your dentist!! It is essential that anyone with a valve problem be on antiboitics for dental procedures; discuss it with your doctor.
