Did anybody get a sham-wow for Christmas?

I hate those Sham-Wow commercials. And, it’s a horrible name. Who would put the word “sham” in their product’s name?

Every time we see those snuggie commercials, my mom and I yell, “snuuuggie!” She got me one for Christmas, lol, but it’s not come in yet.

She got that Mighty-MendIt, even though I really don’t like that guy who does that commercial. Anyway, she used it on a pillow that had a large tear, and it worked great.

lol–another thing my dd wanted…lol She said when she grows up she is going to order EVERYTHING she sees on these infomercials. 😛 🤷 Thanks Mr Bama…I’ll be looking for my snuggie. 😛

I’ve seen the snuggies at rite aid and christmas tree shops. They were only like $8 each. They might even have some at walmart in the as-seen-on-tv section. I would definitely check those stores, and any others with the as-seen-on-tv section, before ordering one. Sounds like they’re not in any hurry to get them to their customers in a timely manner.

I have to agree. my mom’s smooth collies hated having their nails clipped. They got the pedipaws and they now let their nails be trimmed/filed down. It works wonderfully.
Can’t attest to the product working or not - I don’t have one - but what irritates me is the junk email from them at least once a day for the last month.

I don’t get the snuggie . . . back in my day we wore robes. Am I that old??

I think the ‘snuggie’ is popular because it isn’t as restricting as a robe…and it also serves as a blanket. It covers one’s feet as well as acts like a robe. I don’t own one…lol…but my dd watches infomercials constantly…so, I’m quite familiar with this thing!😃

oh man, I only wish we’d gotten some sham-wows
and a pedi-paw thingy too!

a penny pincher board I used to be on recommended those microfiber thingys like sham-wow instead of papertowels and even recommends they be used in place of all the kitchen towels because they last longer and work better.

**I’ve never used paper towels to begin with, just regular kitchen towels, but I plan to start replacing my worn out kitchen towels with shamy thingies as I can afford it.👍 **

**everyone can have a free snugglie thing! just get your bathrobe out and wear it backwards! those commercials crack me up! 😃 **

I can’t see how a sham-wow is any different than the sham I used to dry my car after washing.

My sis bought the shamwow and says it makes the best towel for the dog:D

I want a sham wow and a slider stations. Guess I was naughty this year, they were not in my stocking 😦

Well d’uh! :whacky:

ShamWow’s and Slider Station’s are not delivered in stockings!
They are delivered in Buxton Organizers!

Who loves the part of the Buxton ad where the model can find her glasses while blind-folded. Because when you’re blind-folded, that is exactly what you need…

One of our Poodles has a skin condition and has to be bathed weekly.
We dry him with the Sham Wow and then I toss them in the washer and
hang to dry. They work very well and we are very happy with them.

I was just wunderin if they worked like the man sez they do.

I saw some of those absorber things in wal mart and was curious if the same thing? Gary Mays sez don’t be fooled by imitiations. “Made in Germany and we all know what good towels they make.”

Hmmmmm.
Ich sehr-liebe German engineering, und vill HAF vun ov those wunder-towels, die sham-wowen, ven ich can die money scraped together get!

Aber, Ich do think Herr Gary iz a bit ov a geekheimer. Jawohl.

(( Where’s the Lederhosen-clad smiley!? Oh well… )
