Did God abandon the Jews..?

I’m not here to exact revenge or point out who has done things wrong.

I don’t think that Christians or Jews are morally untouchable. We’re all people, and the sooner we get into ‘What a Jew has done to a Christian:’ or vice versa, we get into clan warfare and blood guilt. That’s what we’re trying to avoid, right?

My main purpose here is discuss consistency of logic, and soundness of ideas. If you find something to that effect lacking in my statements, please bring it to my attention.

How can you be avoiding a topic You alone bring up? And without evidence at all for the statement?

I think I had it right from the start. I know that the Catholic Church can not and does not state that all Jews wholesale are going to hell. Abandonment from God would essentially be hell.

Uh, no. Sorry. The Church has recognized the relationship between Jews and God–as told by the Jews, traditionally–as still being valid. Your statement is still wrong and birdbrained.

I meant that playing the ‘atrocity laundry list’ game is a waste of time. It promotes hatred and division. *Its like Trivial Pursuit for bigots. *

Though, since you alone are so fascinated with part of my statement, and obviously find it doubtful… i.e., Jew(s) having done something unpleasant to a Christian(s)… can you assert definitively that a Jew has never done anything unpleasant to a Christian?

If so I hope you will try to avoid your tendency to write things that are false and outrageous.

I am confused where you can find me stating that the Jews have been abandoned by God when my position that I have been repeating for those who can not follow along, is that the Jews have not been abandoned by God.

You mentioned it, you brought it up. Yet, you don’t have an ounce of evidence for it at all. Your only defense is the most of vaugaries- some jew out there must have done something horrid to a christian. Someone. Out there, someone.

You are aware of what the Catholic Church did to Jews? No?
