Did God Really Intend For A Uniformed Liturgy?

Unfortunately, I cannot at this time remember where I read it. I was shocked when I read it though. I don’t have the time to dig through the internet for hours on end to find it for you either. I apologize.

I am aware of the vowel shift and the change in the pronunciation of the English language. Way back in the last century when I was in High School, I seldom earned lower than a 95% in English and Literature. I was trying to bring up a case where it would be analogous to our present day.
 
The point I was trying to make was that you need look no further than modern English for a case where a contemporary spoken language uses an outdated spelling system, that’s all. It’s one of the reasons English spelling is so difficult to master.
 
OK. But the spelling in English isn’t considered sacred, especially from what I’ve seen on this Forum! 😛
