Many of us came from non-Catholic denominations and are now Catholic because the triple thread of Scripture, history, and tradition is unassailable; everything else is a fragment.Well, your master Jesus did all brave things -entered Jewish synagogues for example. Can you do something less brave ? Be of courageous heart and ask disciples of Christ of** other denominations**, keep your current faith but ask and look them in the eyes : how come they wouldn’t take part at the altar and maybe you do ? Why ? Ask them.
For the record, the Catholic Church is NOT a denomination. A denomination is, by definition, an entity that has been named “off of” the principle “nomination” – i.e., the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church can hardly be lumped with the endless number of Christian associations claiming more-or-less equal status with one another, while all believing different things and all claiming to hold the truth of Jesus Christ.
