“I will put my trust (faith) in him”
Heb.2:13
Heb.2:13
So, God the Father had Faith?“Great is Thy faith”!
Lamentations 3:23
Zarthan, would you please explain the contexts of these verses."We have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, ‘I believed, therefore I spoke’, we too believe and therefore speak."
2 Cor .4:13-14
Ps.16:10
Good answer PJM.***More accurately: Jesus in His Divine Nature [not in His human nature] is the source of all Faith.
Yes the human nature of Jesus had Faith in both the Father and th Holy Spirit ***
**Matt.7: 11" **If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! [21] "Not every one who says to me, `Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
**Matt.12: 50 **“For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother, and sister, and mother.”
**Luke.10: 21 "**In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, “I thank thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to babes; yea, Father, for such was thy gracious will”
John.14: 26 “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you”
Jesus in His Divine Nature is Faith, so "having Faith applies ONLY to His human nature in regard your qustion.
Yes, in the context of God raising Jesus Christ from the dead in 2 Cor.4:14. In the context of Heb.2:13. In the context of Acts 2:25-27. In the context of Ps.16:8-10.Zarthan, would you please explain the contexts of these verses.
The way I understand it, the Psalmist is speaking in Psalm 16. And Paul is quoting the psalmist, expressing his faith.
Yes of course….our obedience of Faith“made known to all nations to bring about the obedience of fa****ith, to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ be glory forever and ever. Amen.”
Rom.16:26-27
Yes… of course…“though being a son, he learned obedience through suffering, and being made perfect, he became the leader of salvation to all who obey him.”
Heb.5:8-9
“obedience of faith to the only wise God through our Lord Jesus Christ”"
Rom.16:26
“I live by faith IN the Son of God”“I have been crucified with Christ, yet I live, no longer I, but Christ lives in me; insofar as I now live in the flesh, I live by the Son of God’s faith who has loved me and given himself up for me.”
Gal.2:19-20
yes let us do so!and again:
‘I will put my trust in him’;
and again:
‘Behold, I and the children God has given me’
Hebrews 2:13
Amen! let us pray for more Faith!“The Lord replied, if you have faith as a grain of mustard”
Luke 17:6
