Did Jesus have Faith?

Zarthan, would you please explain the contexts of these verses.

The way I understand it, the Psalmist is speaking in Psalm 16. And Paul is quoting the psalmist, expressing his faith.
 
“made known to all nations to bring about the obedience of fa****ith, to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ be glory forever and ever. Amen.”

Jesus in His Divine Nature is Faith, so "having Faith applies ONLY to His human nature in regard your qustion.

Yes, in the context of God raising Jesus Christ from the dead in 2 Cor.4:14. In the context of Heb.2:13. In the context of Acts 2:25-27. In the context of Ps.16:8-10.

Yes of course….our obedience of Faith

(but such does not say Jesus had faith)
 
Yes --Faith is very important for Christians. We must have Faith.

“I live by faith IN the Son of God”

Such is the common/usual translation…and that used by Pope Benedict XVI in various places…

The other is how some have “decided” to do so…but such is not the way it has normally been understood.

a general precept,

Rom 14:23 “…whatsoever is not of faith is sin.”

how does this fit in with Jesus having/not having faith??

Jesus didn’t sin
therefore from the above verse
he must have had faith…right?

doesn’t knowledge sort of ‘contain’ faith…like:
before I throw a ball up,
I know it’ll come down,
but I also believe it will come down too.

otherwise the converse:
I know it’ll come down,
but I don’t actually believe that it will
which doen’t make sense…to me

Jesus knows the Father
therefore he also believes/has faith in the Father

otherwise
Jesus knows the Father
but he doesn’t believe in him

am I missing something? 🤷
