Did Jesus have Mary's DNA?

It hadn’t been coming across clearly to me that there was a consistent Catholic belief that Jesus was the literal son of Mary through His DNA given to Him by her.

I think you are challenging my quoting the passage in the BoM that states, according to my interpretation and BY’S, that god had sexual intercourse, literally, with Mary. I am firmly orthodox Catholic in rejecting that past Mormon teaching. You are again constructing a straw man. Sigh. Jesus was fully man and fully God.

I wasn’t talking about anything you wrote.

The Book of Mormon certainly does not imply or say what you infer that it says.

I don’t deal in constructing “straw men”. I do try and understand the beliefs and attitudes of others if I am going to interact with them about a subject of interest to them.
