Did Jesus have siblings?

Why don’t you answer my claim that Jesus was a foolish sinner from the very psalm you cited to “prove” Mary’s non-virginity? Psalm 69:5

also, regarding your use of “until”. The Bible says Michal had no children until the day of her death. That means she had children after.

Also Jesus will reign until his enemies are made his footstool, but his reign will end after that.

Some one said that they find it offensive that Mary might have had sex. lol I will assure you Mary had a mid wife also. Woman have no privacy. You know. I find it offensive that people are adding to the word of God. The word of God is more then clear that Mary has children and how. The word of God is profitable for the casting down of imagaination.
Scripture please to verify your assertion? For I only read:

6: And while they were there, the time came for her to be delivered.
7: And she gave birth to her first-born son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.

Don’t you just hate it when people add to scripture? I find it offensive. 😛
Just for your general information Mary can’t be a virgin after Jesus is born because the hyman is broke from the act of giving birth.
Methinks somene doesn’t know what virginity is. Ergo, sinse many little girls have broken hymens, they are not virgins when they first have relations with their husbands. According to scripture (under fundamentalist interpretation) those little girls are fornicators.

I do remember that baptists prefer the schaff bible. Possibly they should read the notes on Mt 4.

OK, first off, Aramaic is not derived from Hebrew. Aramaic is the language of the Assyrian empire, and after it, the Persian (and after it, the Alexandrian, in the East anyway). The Assyrians regarded the Hebrews as an odd, backward people living on their western border.
Perhaps you are right. However, I think Hebrew and Aramaic are a little more closely related than you may think.

THE HISTORY OF

THE ARAMAIC LANGUAGE

PREFACE OF "LEARNING CLASSICAL ARAMAIC"

Aramaic was the language of Semitic peoples throughout the ancient Near East. It was the language of the Assyrians, Chaldeans, Hebrews and Syrians. Aram and Israel had a common ancestry and the Hebrew patriarchs who were of Aramaic origin maintained ties of marriage with the tribes of Aram. The Hebrew patriarchs preserved their Aramaic names and spoke in Aramaic.

The term Aramaic is derived from Aram, the fifth son of Shem, the firstborn of Noah. See Gen. 10:22. The descendants of Aram dwelt in the fertile valley, Padan-aram also known as Beth Nahreen.

The Aramaic language in Padan-aram remained pure, and in the course the common language (lingua franca), of all the Semitic clans. By the 8th century B.C. it was the major language from Egypt to Asia Minor to Pakistan. It was employed by the great Semitic empires, Assyria and Babylon. The Persian (Iranian) government also used Aramaic in their Western provinces.

The language of the people of Palestine shifted from Hebrew to Aramaic sometime between 721-500 B.C. Therefore, we know that Jesus, his disciples and contemporaries spoke and wrote in Aramaic. The message of Christianity spread throughout Palestine, Syria and Mesopotamia in this Semitic tongue.

Present-day scholars claim that the Aramaic language itself passed through many stages of development:
  • Old Aramaic 975-700 B.C.
  • Standard Aramaic 700-200 B.C.
  • Middle Aramaic 200 B.C.-200 A.D.
  • Late Aramaic 200-700 A.D.
Hard to believe that there was not a lot of crossover when a single people transitions from one language to another.

But the hymen can break from exercise, other ways, etc. and a girl can still remain pure. There is no need to assume fornication.

What is the Schaff Bible? I never heard of it, although I am familiar with the Schofield Bible. What is your comment about Matthew 4? Please let me know. I am a Catholic, but I am familiar with Protestant Bibles.

That was my point.

Ok. I’m familiar with the Scofield. He was a dispensationalist like Darby.
