Did Jesus help people at the wedding of Cana get drunk?

I could probably spend the rest of my life happily without beer.

Going without hops, however . . .

I’m actually working on designing a drink right now with an IPA level hopload, but lighter body, calories, and alcohol.

One of the lost portions of Scripture was Jesus’ words telling the guests to leave their car keys at the door or find a designated driver. No sin involved on His part. 😀🤣😉
 
Water into wine, a few loaves of bread feeding thousands, all leads up to His changing bread and wine into His Body and Blood.

Is that a matter of the Deposit of Faith?

I don’t agree that He was incapable of sin. That would imply that He was never tempted.
 
Christ is not a human person, as you are and I am. Thereforefore Christ cannot not be “tempted” in the sense that you or I can be–i.e. with the result of sin occurring. Christ is (not “was”) one Person with two natures, human and divine, in hypostatic union. Because of this, His divine nature, He cannot sin (cf. John 5:19 ”I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.”)

I’m not going to engage in a debate about Christ’s impeccability. As far as I’m concerned the matter is settled. Have a blessed Sunday! 😇

I read the alcohol has to increase when the hop index increases, to balance the bitterness or something? I’d love to find a super hoppy IPA that has 4% alcohol. Love those hops, and they’re good for me!

I no longer imbibe either…after some health issues and getting older I just lost my taste for alcohol save an occasional glass of wine…and rarely that.

I have developed a fondness for Welch’s sparkling red grape juice though…

Generally, yes, they need to rise together.

There are choices that can be made to affect the body and alcohol level; my target is something with less calorie and alcohol that still feels heaver than it is to the mouth.

The providing of wine is not the direct cause of someone getting drunk.

Getting drunk, is not necessarily the original intent behind drinking or the providing of wine.

Is there a difference between the kind of effect that can come with a reasonable consumption of human-made wine and the effects of the greatest wine ever given?

Just thinking about the triangle of miracles.

Moses turns the water into blood in Egypt
Jesus turns the water into wine at Cana
The priest turns the water and wine into transcendent blood at the mass

I’m sure someone can make a spiritual connection between the three.
