You can’t just take one verse from the bible and draw a quick conclusion. If that is so, how do think about what Jesus said:

Matthew 6:5 - 7
5. And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites [are]: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

It seems to me if Jesus had felt this was a part of the old law (which he after all came to renew with the New Covenant) that Christians ought to keep he would have said, ‘Wash like this’ or ‘Pray like this’.

Sure he may have done those things, but he prayed in many different ways and in all different times- eg on the Cross (Eloi, eloi, lama me sabbacthani=Father, why hast thou forsaken me (spellings may be dodgy sorry)).

Can you point to an instruction to act in the ways you have discussed. Can you point to an instruction to do *salat *and doa?

And merely having a shower before prayer is not really ablution because one has to also have the intent in one’s heart to wash oneself for the sake of the Creator… and so perhaps Christians need to include this intent whenever they take a bath before going for their prayers.
Sorry if me showering doesn’t work for you, next time I’ll phone the local fire-brigade and they can hose me down. 🤷

And Jesus already said what you just posted.

Matt 23:26 Thou blind Pharisee, first make clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, that the outside may become clean.

Luke 11:39 And the Lord said to him: Now you Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter; but your inside is full of rapine and iniquity.

Matt 23:25** Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you make clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but within you are full of rapine and uncleanness.**

Don’t you want to pray like the Prophets (pbut) themselves prayed?
I seem to remember the Lord being asked “… teach us to pray…”

I just can’t seem to find the instruction for posture in His answer:shrug:

You got it. 🙂 Thanks!
Luke 11:1
“Teach us how to pray,” the disciples said to Jesus.
He answered by teaching them the prayer we call the Our Father or The Lord’s Prayer.

yes the stuff about camel’s urine killing germs is like all the stuff about secret cancer cures suppressed by the NIH etc etc
I promise you, I could find any number of substances in the average home that kill cancer cells and germs, no problem
the acid test is whether or not they kill the human being in the process!!!
…and whether you drink it with one hump or two??

Hamba, please read the above carefully to see if you finally understand what we’ve been saying here!

A clean outside means nothing if you’re full of evil inside. Get it?

actually maybe we should just all ignore ham’s posts, as he never responds except if he spots some small technicality to score points on
and carries on with the same point regardless, when it’s been refuted several times already
