why didn’t Allah produce a more convincing miracle by for example not copying other holy books and writings of the time? Jesus showed that he was from God by healing the sick and raising people from the dead.

Could you point out where in the Bible it tells Christians to have beards?
If all Mohammedans should obey all of the instructions of “Mohammed” let me ask you - have all Mohammedan men had sex with an 8 year old? Do you drink camel’s urine?

In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve impose their own will over God’s. They take complete ownership of the Garden. By possessing and imposing their will on everything, including the tree of knowledge of good and evil. They assert control according to their wishes. Not God’s.
And so we have the laws of kashrut. Laws that impose certain obligations on us in what we are permitted to eat. It is an opportunity to address the sins in the garden of eden. By recognizing that we are limited in asserting control over this world. We can not assume complete ownership over everything. This is demonstrated in the prohibitions against eating certain foods.
It is also demonstrated in the laws regarding fruit trees in Israel. When an Israelite plants a tree for the purpose of bearing fruit, they are not permitted to eat from the tree for three seasons. (Fruit trees were created on the third day). On the fourth year of fruit bearing, the fruit belongs to God and was given to the temple or eaten in conjunction with holy days only. Another example of acknowledging God’s ownership. Only on the fifth season can the farmer use the produce for his own use.
Similarly, every 7th year is a Sabbatical year in which all the land must remain unharvested. Again, showing that we do not assert complete ownership over the land, that it belongs to God and that even the land is entitled to a Sabbath. To return it to its natural state. To return it to a kind of Eden.

lightofeyes, if you REALLY want to live out “Jesus Peace be upon him” then you will heed His words, and follow His teachings. Jesus said “I and the Father are One”, and urged us to Love the Lord Your God With All of Your Heart, Mind, Soul and Strength. When you do that, it will not matter if you have a beard or not.
Jesus has risen from the dead and is now seated in heaven at the right hand of God. It matters not if he appears to have a beard, as He has a heavenly body. You can have a heavenly body too, if you follow Him.

Pharmaceutical science has indeed proven that urine has huge medicinal properties and indeed Premarin (pregnant mare’s urine) is one of the most widely used drugs around.

there is no commandmant about it since Jesus isn’t interested in the least with these details…we must follow how He behaved while on earth and not his looks since it’s not something we have much info about in the first place. There are people who grow beards and long hair and others who don’ t.
As to not eating pork and circumcizion and all the Levitical Law Muslims love to mention (as if you apply them all) , first you must understand (as all Muslims should) that Jesus gave us a New Covenant that is DIFFERENT from the Old testament that He FULFILLED and He made “halal” what was unlawful under the Old Covenant just as your book says. A bit of skin and abstaining from porc is the last thing Jesus is interested in since Jesus is the saviour, neither circumcizion nor porc meat and this is what the apostles taught. But since you reject His salvation then you cling to these rituals “thinking” they will get you closer to God. We got Jesus who saves, we don’t need anything else “to be saved”. We don’t need special food, special clothes, special cleaning, special prayer positions, special prayer orientation, minute-to-minute what-to-do as if we were robots…we are children of God, not robots.These outward things will save no one…
The Levitical Laws apply to Jews, not to Christians who have never been Jews in the first place .

The Hebrew Scriptures do INDEED prohibit the consumption of pork, However, the Greek Scirptures (the New Testament) does NOT…quite the opposite…and as has already been pointed out, the Mosaic Law was for JEWS ALONE…not for gentiles.
You still haven’t answered the question about Muhammed’s illiteracy…since he was, shouldn’t YOU also be? I’m not buying this miracle nonsense…God could have used a lot more convincing miracles than an illiterate profit to prove the Koran was true…heck, the Mormons are more convincing in their presentation as to why THEIR version of the scriptuires is true.

We do what Jesus told us to do, because we read and hear what Jesus has told us to do. He never told us to wear a beard, and he never told us not to eat pork.
As far as eating pork, he showed Paul, a convert and disciple whose words are Holy Scripture, that it was okay to eat pork if you wanted. Jesus told us that it is not what we put in our bodies that makes us unclean, but what comes out of them - i.e., unclean thoughts.

we do follow Jesus by believing his words in the Bible and by truly respecting him instead of just calling him a prophet, who is lower than a mere man who thought that calling himself “the praised one” meant he had earned the title
as for the contents of your link, since all my Jewish friends deny that that is the Jewish way of praying, I think we can safely say Jesus didn’t pray that way. otherwise why did he need a prayer shawl?

Jesus (pbuh) had no qualms or hesitation whatsoever at bowing and prostrating to his Creator in public.
Why doesn’t the Pope do this… or most other Christians for that matter?
