Ha ha! Good point! We all blew right past it. How many contentious threads have begun based on a misunderstanding?Who said she did not need a savior? That is what I would like to know first?

In the beginning, God created two perfect, sinless human natures. They were sinless until… Yet, neither was designed or destined to bring God to mankind. Neither was intended for mankind’s redemption. Neither was conceived of and designed within the Divine intellect for the sole purpose of giving flesh to God’s human nature. It was planned out by God that Jesus would come through her. So yes, she is/was obviously important. I do not deny that.
Through God anything is possible. I think he has it worked out. No need to worry. In the beginning, God created two perfect, sinless human natures. “Mary was important.”It was planned out by God that Jesus would come through her. So yes, she is/was obviously important. I do not deny that.
How else do we inherit a sinful nature
? Nature is the flesh.]interesting thought. Not sure if you are right though . Part of it is that we have a sinful nature because we have no spiritual nature or life .Again, I am not sure flesh by itself is “sinful”. It is like does God resist us at birth because we have original sin, or did He just withdraw from our birth ,leaving us spiritually dead, as part of the curse ? yes we inherit a sinful nature but not because we are flesh, for we are flesh, saved or unsaved, glorified or unglorified (in the future)…If there were no sin we would still be born in the flesh, but with a balanced Godly spirit.
I do hope that you agree that Jesus, to fulfill prophecy, had to have a blood connection to His “David His father” (Luke 1:32).interesting thought. Not sure if you are right though . Tietjen:Yes, Mary needed and had a Savior. It’s like this… if a child playing near a pool falls in but is then rescued by her father, she has been saved. However, if her father places a wall around the pool so that the child cannot fall in, she has also been saved. God is outside of time and He saved Mary before she fell into the pool.
Yes, that was rather simply well worded.Tietjen:
Thanks for one of the better explanations of the Immaculate Conception.
Back to the point…Who said she did not need a savior? That is what I would like to know first?
Yes, and I’ve noticed that those who reject the Immaculate Conception have conveniently avoided addressing Tietjen’s brilliant metaphor.Yes, that was rather simply well worded.![]()
Mary is a queen. It was planned out by God that Jesus would come through her. So yes, she is/was obviously important. I do not deny that.
one voice, thats what she claims the prayers imply.Who said she did not need a savior? That is what I would like to know first?
Yes.but what does that mean, medically ,scientifically ,or is it a general term to mean lineage as" coming from"I do hope that you agree that Jesus, to fulfill prophecy, had to have a blood connection to His “David His father” (Luke 1:32).
Of course they were designed to have union with God. Even after the fall this is possible. Don’t understand then your “bring God to mankind”. We are designed to bring man to God,as in, “for God so chose by the foolishness of preaching should men be saved”. Redemption was promised thru Eve ,but not after the" ways of a man" as David suggested (one of the first prophecies of a “divine” birth for the Messiah). I do believe Eve was designed to give flesh (Cain and Abel), and down the road, to a Redeemer . From her seed would come the Messiah. Gen. 3;15 does suggest “Eve” was designed, even after the fall, to “give flesh to God”. Perhaps I misunderstand you .Fascinating though ,thank-you.In the beginning, God created two perfect, sinless human natures. Oh come on now, Mr. Thesaurus“Mary was important.”
Nice understatement PumpkinSeed…![]()
It is safe to believe that it means all aspects of the Davidic Kingship. We are speaking of the actions of almighty God here!Yes.but what does that mean, medically ,scientifically ,or is it a general term to mean lineage as" coming from"
History will record that the use of “mobile devices” was the initiator of the end of comprehensible human language.Of course they were designed to have union with God. I approve. I mean, I…[hmm, looking for synonym in thesaurus…]Oh come on now, Mr. Thesaurus
I know how blessed and great Mary is. She is actually the queen of heaven mentioned in revelations, not only that, but she is the Mother of God. No need to tell me.
Can’t get much better than that, can you?
