D.R,
Seriously. I rarely like invoking the fact that I am a Physician. The fact that maternal and fetal cells mix is common knowledge. The NIH website is where you find scientific articles on the topic.

You do not believe that the fetus and maternal blood are not mixed. What is the purpose of the placenta? Maternal blood crosses from the placenta to the fetus and vice versa. Maternal and fetal cells transfer as well.
You did not look in the right place and you are wrong that the maternal and fetal blood do not mix. You may want to look up Rh factor and things like that.
It is no myth. You are wrong.. I totally succumb to your (name removed by moderator)ut on Chimerism or at least microchimerism. Indeed cells can transfer to and fro. As far as blood ,well maybe it’s our terminology but generally speaking they do not mix ,though they come very close in order to exchange "the goods and bads -air components ,nutrients ,waste, " but beyond that, it t is too dangerous ( blood types, anti - immune rejecting etc) But again, thank-you for your patience, and I withdraw my premise that there is no flesh mixing ,hence no need for a perfect Mary ,under CC thinking .My premise was weak anyways cause the original egg and dna are directly from the mother anyways, as I pointed out .So I rest on my final escape clause, for my science is weak, which questioned the whole need for fleshly perfection in Mary due to her spiritual perfection, via faith in the blood of the Lamb …As a side note appreciating your background, I was fascinated to ponder for the first time ever from the Catholic perspective, the perfect dna of both Jesus and Mary . Did they both look as perfect as one might imagine the first Adam and Eve, whatever perfect might be (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ? - not). Did they age like fallen dna/man,under the curse ? Would Jesus have lived forever had it not been for Calvary ? Just pondering (can’t be worse than watching an evening of tv or video games)…thanks again and apologies as noted
