I was watching one of the cartoons on EWTN (forgot the name) and in it, one of the parents said that Luke had Mary tell her memories of Christ and he wrote them down and this is how we have the stories of Christ’s youth.
I find this very interesting if true, but I had never heard this before and can’t find any information regarding this. I have read that Luke’s Gospel pays more attention to Mary than the others, but that’s it. The introduction to the Gospel in the NAB makes no mention of it either.
Just curious if anyone has ever heard of this before and can point me to some reading on the subject.
